LOVE IT!
This stuff is the Awesome! Used a hand Dollar store spray mister and medium sifter. Works fine. Also DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT do this inside. It's a very fine dust that goes everywhere and I do mean everywhere. Cleaning it off stuff in another room and the hardwood floors is not fun. Had no idea it was going airborne on me. Thought I had it contained using a high sided box on the test 2 foot tree. I did not. I was wrong. Also glad I bought the big bag. The 5 pound bag would not have been enough for heavy flocking for a 6 foot tree much less my fat 9 foot one. This should be just enough to do the job and have a tad for touch ups next year if needed.Check out the tube video to show how to DIY it with the hand spray bottle. Spray to wet the branch, sift from about twofeet above the branch while spraying the flowing powder. DO NOT SPRAY the sifter by accident because you aren't paying attention. If you do, simply rinse the sifter and dry well before staring again.Spray one more time after you get enough flock powder on to suit you. That will set the product into a durable , hard coat that looks just like icy snow.If you want more flakey show, then mist less on the last spray. I wanted a thick impervious coat so I misted the heck out of it.Take your time. Don't go commando like I did and use a sieve because it had bigger holes and I was impatient. You will bet something that looks like a serious blizzard vs fallen snow. You can add glitter before the last spray and it sets if you want but a little opalized clear glitter goes a long way. Looks sparkling and fancy. I did it on the tiny tree the next day after it dried and set the glitter with a light spray bottle mist. It held even upside down. Don't ask why the tree was tested upside down. Stuff happens around my house. Also the flock doesn't fall off if the tree gets knocked over. Just sayin.

Cool stuff!!
Love this flock!! I bought this for a free tree and I'm thrilled with how my project turned out. I'm a real tree kinda girl and so for me to love having a snowy fake tree in my home for the first time in my adult life is huge. The application is a little messy I'm not gonna lie, but totally worth the results. All that is needed is a dollar store sifter, water bottle, sheet or drop cloth and some sort of face mask. It's a super fine powder that thickens with moisture-you don't want that in your lungs. I followed the instructions on the bag and pre-misted my tree well. Then misted while the flock was falling to the desired thickness and finally set it with a good spray around the whole tree. Waited for 24hrs and ta-da!! It stays on and NO mess once it's dry. We did it with 2 people and it took about 15-20 min. Much easier than I expected and I'm crafty. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff. The bag is about the size of LG dog food. I flocked two porch trees and my big 7ft fluffy tree pretty thick and I'll be flocking for years! The flock washes off pretty easily under water.

Why have I never tried this?!?! Great product!
I wanted a flocked tree and didn’t want to spend upwards of $600. I found a friend who was getting rid of a full tree that wasn’t prelit and decided to try to use this and flock it myself. I AM NOT crafty. I don’t even use a glue gun. It was easy! The results are fabulous. I love the finished result. It was too cold to donit outside and I’ll probably need to touch it up when it is warmer and I can spray it better for more adhesion - I was in a hurry. I love it!! You will not regret this. Wet it well and use a heavy hand if you want it very “snowy” or lighter for a snow kissed look. Mist with water when you are done and it stays well. Our problem was the assembled tree was bigger than any doorway and the flocking took a beating getting in the house from the garage after the process (no one was willing to take it apart and reassemble 😒). Under normal wear, it seems like it would be fine.

Worked fantastic, highly recommend
I wasn't sure what to expect but I was very pleased with this product. I did it all by myself. I used water in a spray bottle and soaked each section starting at the top first. I used a strainer which was a little difficult so ended up dumping it on the tree too. I wanted mine totally white and it came out beautiful!! I did it inside with a tarp laying down. It did not make a ton of dust in the air but I went little at a time in sections and stood back and went over lighter areas. Don't breathe in though when you are refilling your strainer or cup. That didn't feel good. It took me a little more than 2 hours from start to finish on a 7.5 ft tree. Make sure to spray plenty of water. I would definately recommend this product. I bought the 25lb bag and used about 5-10 lbs of it. The only complaint would be cleaning up under the tree. This gets on your clothes and hair very easily. Be sure to use plenty of water :)

The most beautiful Christmas tree I ever had!
I bought this 25 lb bag last year 2018 and flocked a large 9-10ft fat tree, 2 medium wreaths, tree branches(craft project) and I still had half a bag left maybe more. I have to say the most beautiful tree I ever had! I just flocked my Christmas tree for this year 2019, again a 9-10 ft tree but this year's tree is on the thin side. I also flocked a few artificial spruce branches. I still have better than a 1/4 bag left and confident I'll have enough for 2020's tree and extras. The artificial wreaths from last year held up nicely to reuse yearly. Besides the obviously that flocking the tree makes the tree beautiful, I find less needle loss from a flocked real tree. Definitely, without hesitation would recommend this product and will buy again when I run out.By the way, flocking is addicting. You will want to flock everything? Makes artificial wreaths and Garland look so much better.

Beautiful addition to our Christmas tree!
Ok, so I went heavy on our 9½ ft tree! It did not disappoint! It was time consuming (probably took me 2 days) and you definitely want a tarp below if doing it inside. But the outcome was so much better than expected! A water bottle with an adjustable spray is recommended and don't be afraid to throw this stuff on with a small cup...after I was done I still have 5 pounds left. Great buy!
