Great Amazon customer service, but mattress is too firm.
I ordered this shortly after Christmas and it arrived as expected. The box it came in was large and heavy but I was able to get it up to my second floor master bedroom myself. I was able to easily open the box and plastic cover on my box spring and within 3 hours, it was ready!I was anxious to sleep on it that night since my old mattress was very saggy and causing serious back pain! Initially, when I sat on it I thought it was a bit firm but still I thought I made the right choice after thorough research.That night, when I laid on it it was a bit harder than I expected but figured it was brand new. I was willing to let it slide. I decided to have my beautiful girlfriend sleep on it and test it out one night and she hated it! I thought I'd give it another week but I could not sleep! It was causing some soreness all over!I decided to contact Amazon to see what I can do and what my options are. I certainly wasn't going to try to stuff that mattress back into the shipping box!! Amazon was fantastic! They were able to help me out completely to my full satisfaction! Thank you Amazon!!

Soft by firm enough
The top layer is relatively soft, like any other memory foam, but the lower layers are relatively firm. The result is the mattress contours to my body, but give an overall firm impression. No sinking into the bed, but also no pressure (or pain) points.The mattress came in a small box (maybe a little bigger than a golf bag), and expanded quickly once un-boxed and unwrapped. It weights slightly lighter than a regular mattress. There is no funny smell, and I was able to sleep on it the same night.This is my first memory foam mattress. I have been using memory foam mattress toppers, but have been leery about memory foam mattress. I have been sleeping on this mattress for about a week now. So far so good. I am still waiting to see the longevity of the mattress, but slowly I might be moving away from the inner spring type.

Great price for a great bed.
Was a little suspicious that this bed would be comfortable and boy am I glad I bought it. It’s firm, yet comfortable, and the price is great. My sister bought a King.

Very comfortable! Just-right firmness that's a little soft on top but doesn't let you sink in too much.This coming from a 5'9 180lb male.

After a wait of five days, mattress still isn't ready to use!
We have been sleeping on a Sleep Innovations Cal-King Memory Foam Mattress and it's time to replace. Couldn't find the same mattress when ordering so decided to order a BeautyRest Memory Foam Mattress. As photo shows, mattress is not at required size after a five-day wait! Customer Support was very supportive to secure credit and return.
