Lazy Caye 3 Person All-Weather Swing Bed with Toss Pillows - Cappuccino

The swing arrived in good shape...the basic structure is fine, however, the most important part of the swing...the seat...is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on. The foam is without any doubt the cheapest material and if you put a dime under the foam and sat down on it you could tell if the heads or tales of the dime was up. I will be making a trip to our local Lowe's store to buy material to completely reconstruct the seat of the swing, and will visit an upholstery shop and have them order in for me some decent padding or foam. This was very disappointing to me as I had purchased the swing for my wife who is very ill as she enjoys sitting out on the patio to watch the birds come to feed. I will probably not purchase anything else from Coral Coast.

I put this together easily with a minimum of talent or tools. It is wonderful for sitting on. Reading in the evenings has never been so pleasant. I haven't tried sleeping on it yet but I love that option.

I do not like this swing. The first thing that I did not like about the swing is it is very difficult to put together, even though the pieces are marked and the bags of screws and bolts are separated and marked, I think some of the screws were not right or missing. The second thing I didnt like about the swing was that it does not sit comfortable. The seat slants down when you sit in it, feel like you are going to fall out. It also sits to high. I guess the reason for the swing slanting down and the cushion hangs over, is to acommodate for when the swing is made into a bed. It is to late and to much trouble to send it back. Even though this swing was $300.00 I should have looked for a better one even if it cost more.

I recieved this a bit faster then expected - box had very min damage - all items inside were great.Assembly - We first off the book is small -so read it first, organize all parts and bolts / nuts per the diagrams. As you go step by step on this make sure you look at a photo of the completed product along with the next step ahead. This will reduce your confusion and having to pull parts back off to assemble correctly. - Get yourself a ratchet set also - don't bother with the tools that come with it.Total assembly time from off loading from the truck to kicked back in the chair was 2.5 hours and a couple of beers.if you do make this into a " bed " it's not too comfy as the center support bars don't feel so good.Over all this is a nice set up, I will enjoy a few cocktails out in the sun on this.

REVISION:We purchased the swing in March. In September the seating broke. It ripped. Upon contacting the seller we were informed that they only had a 30 day return period and we should contact a local company to fix it. Seriously? I spend more than 300 USD on this swing and now I have to repair it already 6 months after purchase without accomodation or refund option?Don't waste your money.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We got this a couple of months back and just love it.- The reason for 4 stars instead of five is that it was a bit of a pain to put together because the instructions were a bit unclear but it was manageable since the single frame pieces are numbered (almost all at least). Other than that, there is nothing really to complain about.- The swing was knocked over already due to a severe storm we had and it is still in awesome condition! We put it back on its feet and it stands like nothing happened. Only the swing itself fell off (which was no issue since we simply had to hang back in there). We learned from this that if there is a warning of severe weather that we will take off the canopy and turn the swing to align it with the house so no wind can catch and knock it over again. ;)- We always take the matress and pillows off and inside when not in use which is due to the fact that if it rains for some reason, it will appear dry but isn't. The matress gets soaked so much that it will take a day (or even two) to dry. To dry it out quicker you'll have to hang it up croocked (?) so on of the corners is pointing towards the ground and the water will flow out easier.Overall a good quality product :)

The frame is great, the top cover is greatbut the cushions are cheesy, annoying.When it rains, water puddles in the center and won't dry without removing it, and emptying the water on the frame cover, then draining the water off the cushion and trying to find a place to dry it out while the swing cover also dries out. It is a pain.Would buy a better cover if I knew how.

The instructions are absolutely horrible, and barely helpful, parts missing, some washers had chunks out of them, and not comfortable at all. The cushion doesn't fit right, the bar that's used to make the unit sit up, or lay down, has a long bolt with a wing nut that has to be taken off every time you want to change position. All in all, an absolutely horribly engineered unit. I really wish that I did not buy this item.
