Died after year... comes with a 3 year warranty
This laser has a higher quality feel than some of the competitors lasers, however after normal use over 3 years this laser stopped measuring. Lecia offered a discount for a new one.

Major headache if you work in imperial units!
Bought this as an equivalent to the Disto E7400x. It isn't equivalent. It doesn't have the option of rounding off the measurements to 1/16th and 1/8th and 1/4 of an inch like the E7400X has. Major headache if you work as I do in imperial units. I don't find it intuitive to have a measure read 17/32nds of an inch. Although I am quite used to working with 1/16 th of an inch I found it a waste of time to have to translate the measurements in 32ths into to 1/16th. Don't buy this if you work in imperial units. I am returning mine.
