New to the trade? Well look no further!
Coming from an Airgas cheapo $20 helmet to this thing was night and day when I started using it for my SMAW welding.Pros:-Lightweight-Comfortable-LARGE viewing lens (puts my old helmet to shame!)-Replaceable lenses and batteries (would you believe some Auto darkening helmets you can't replace the batteries?!)-Aesthetics is amazing-Wide range of shade levels for various welding types and even a grind mode-Price (I say this because locally helmets like this were easily $50 or more)Cons:-Price (sort of expensive but still cheaper than other helmets like this)-You're going to get lots of compliments from people (I'm not much of a boaster when it comes to stuff I buy)Other thoughts:This helmet has been perfectly fine since the day I bought it and can easily recommend it to anyone that's into welding (professional, student, or hobbyist)! It's been so much easier laying down welds with the large view port and auto dimming capability compared to my old helmet that I wonder why I didn't even think of getting this first. This helmet has been doing fine with stick, tungsten, and MIG welding and you can change the shade level depending on what suits you best. Couldn't ask for anything better. Oh and you can buy replaceable lenses also here on Amazon.

Top of the line for the price and fits Miller helmets
So far out of about 10 different welding helmets that I have used, this one takes the cake best view a good polarized lens that works great with mig, tig, plasma cutting and even gas cutting. Some of my other helmets include most of the miller electric models from the t 9400(old vs of the t94) a digital infinity and a digital elite other brands are rhino lite and harbor freight.

Good entry-level/hobbiest helmet.
I'm a newbie welder, so take my opinion for what it may not be worth. I've had this helmet for about 2 months, and am very satisfied with it. Keep in mind, its just plastic, so protection from spatter is ok, but its not for overhead.Great field of view, excellent adjustability of the filter, really, for the price, for a newbie, it rocks. if you're building ships or something, probably not.

Perfect for light duty welding/grinding
Got this helmet after a 3 year break from TIG welding. WAs using this with a small MIG unit for a WAsteland weekend project truck and have not had any issues with the helmet. Incredible view area and it all dims evenly as soon as the arc starts. I used to use something similar to the Miller 251292 Classic Series helmet and enjoy this one much more. My only gripe is no autolock feature when the helmet is flipped up. Beyond that there is no reason not to get this unit.

arrived late and looks like it had been dropped with scratches and dings on the front and glass but overall seems to be a great mask mistakes happen when processing and shipping i've only been able to use it once but still seems to work fine but flashes to auto dark randomly but the view range is amazing i highly recommend a not damaged one.

Greatest Welding Hood Ever
This welding hood is awesome. It has the largest lens view that I have ever seen/used and I have been welding for 45 years. I am so glad I ordered when I did, as they are out of stock at the moment. When they become available again, don't hesitate to purchase one, you won't be sorry. Using this hood is akin to looking out your cars windshield. FANTASTIC. Thanks Antra. And, no, I wasn't paid to write this review in anyway.Drac

Not an everyday use helmet, spend the money on something better
The auto darkening mechanism stopped working about 8 months after purchase, helmet was never dropped, hit, rained on. The price for a new auto darkening was not worth purchasing. Bought new Miller Helmet. It may be an ok helmet for hobbyist, but don't work well for everyday use fabricating on a farm.🤷♂️

Best value for money spent has what youre looking for. Most efficient wide/tall viewing area, great auto shading filter for welding with many adjustments, grinding mode when youre not welding with extras, battery lasted me a good 3 years never had a problem with this one.

Lasted 9months
Helmet was purchased less then a year ago, been dead for about 2months and won't switch to a dark lens anymore, tried contacting the company with no luck. I would stay away from this product.
