Order this to replace a Dell keyboard that Dell would no longer repair due to it being over 5 years old. It was for my father in law who only uses the computer for email, facebook and occasional searches for things to buy.

Liquid spill on keyboard caused 8 keys to be inoperable. Repair / cleaning efforts did not work. Thought I needed new laptop, did not know I could just replace the keyboard. this was an easy install...took no more than 2-3 minutes...i have been using an external keyboard..so glad to be able to use the actual keyboard for a change...now waiting on my battery to come in and then i will be set...wished i had done this sooner..

The Space Bar has some problems. If you don't hit it directly in the middle and with some extra force then it doesn't work. Otherwise, it seems to fit well and restored an old Dell laptop to service.
