Great value and quality for the money
Great deck box for the pool. It went together easily with all the holes lining up perfectly. It certainly won't keep things dry if left out in the rain, but I didn't expect that looking at the liner. A very attractive addition to the pool area for holding beach towels and pool toys for guests. This is a blend of beauty and functionality for the money.

Looks good, can be assembled by one person, but had a slight problem
It looks really good. And I can sit on it - but I wouldn't recommend two people doing so.There were comments that it takes two people to assemble - I did it by myself. The hard part is getting the hinges installed. That can be hard for one person if the piece is upright. But I put it on its back so that I could line everything up on the ground and then drive in the screws.I also used an electric screwdriver - with the torque setting at its lowest level, and even then I finished the screws by hand. There was a bit of a problem: The cut-outs for the hinges were about 1/4" too close together. I fixed that easily with some gentle use of a small wood chisel.

Beautiful, but useless
This is a beautiful wooden storage container, but there is nothing waterproof about it. The top is made of wooden slats that are actually spaced about a quarter inch apart. It’s completely useless for storing anything that needs to be kept dry. I tried putting waterproof tape on the underside of the lid in the hopes that I could make it work, but no luck. Very pretty, but completely useless.

Quality Storage Bench
I've got to start off by saying that the build quality on the wooden bench part is fantastic for a cheap DIY piece of furniture. All the holes lined up, it was easy to square, and didn't need any leveling shims after assembly. Looks good too, the 45x18 cushion we got sits on it really nicely.Downsides: not sure how the top would hold up to consistent use as a bench, and the liner tarp fits but not as perfectly as the box itself. But I'm still impressed at the price point.

Absolutely NOT waterproof
My primary goal in purchasing this storage box was to store cushions and such for the tea terrace I was making. My major hate is that, contrary to the advertising, the liner does not protect the cushions from rain or the sprinklers. The "waterproof" liner does a great job of keeping all the water IN the bag, but seems to keep none of the water out. I was disappointed that there are huge gaps between the fine boards that make up the shell of the box. The waterproofed canvas bag is secured by velcro strips to the box. No matter how I stretched the canvas and fiddled with the velcro, every time the lawn gets watered, the bag in the box gets several gallons of water in it. The top of the bag is far too small and does not overlap the sides, so water just collects on the top piece of canvas and drains into the interior of the bag.Assembly was not too bad. A few of the pieces needed a bit of "persuading", but it went together fairly well. Before assembly I treated it with 2 coats of teak oil to preserve it, as I had hoped to use this for many years. I am not so sure about that now. If I can find a truly waterproof box, I will move this one to another location. I am really sorry that I left my old teak storage box at my last home when we moved. That one stayed outdoors all winter and the pillows in it never got wet.Nevertheless, there is also something to be said for it. It does look really good. If you were going to store something like pool toys or something else than can get wet, it would work. Skip the canvas liner, though, unless the bench is to be placed under a roof of some kind. The bottom is made of two removable panels and there is lots of ventilation as the sides, top, and bottom are made of small strips of wood with gaps between them. The gaps are not so wide that you can see the contents. In the photos, one is taken with the cushions and glasses inside the box and another is taken with some of the contents removed. The top of the box does work well as a sort of table. We have used this outdoors for several months and it has served us well except for the fact that the pillows and cushions need to be removed every time the irrigation system is programmed to run.

Beautiful storage space
I love the look, it's simple and it's so useful. we use it as a garden tool storage chest. But it's so beautiful that we also place food and drinks when we have a lot of company in our outdoor lenai. It's awesome!

Practical & beautiful
Very quick replacement sent for a broken first order. Easy to assemble. I added nail on glides to feet so it drys quicker after rainstorm. Also, I had to pierce the bottom of its custom tarp to let water drain after heavy rainstorm.
