Fila Men's Day Hiker Shoes

I love these shoes....and I have extremely sensitive feet that makes it very difficult to find a comfortable shoe. This is actually my second pair. I haven't worn out the first pair yet but I bought these because Costco is no longer carrying them and I was afraid they would be discontinued. I just got back from Kauai where we hiked a 4 mile hike along the Napali coast and these shoes performed flawlessly!!!

A version of Columbia Redmond hikers but I do not think they are for rugged terrain, long jaunts or day after day foot pounding. I got my first pair at Costco about a year ago and yes the yellow trim on the bottom does eventually get worn and you might need to glue it or tear it off and throw it away. But at this price, it is great for getting around town and light outdoor stuff. In a pinch good for biking. They are not waterproof and your feet can get wet but are not advertised as such.I like them and have them on right now.

These are pretty decent for the price. They aren't the most durable shoes that I've owned though. After about three weeks, the yellow bits of the tread started to separate from the sole, but they are more decorative than necessary so it doesn't affect the shoe's functionally and it's not noticable anyway, being on the bottom. I added some better insoles to provide better arch support. Overall pretty happy with them for my everyday wear.

Didn't hold up! Shows sign of breaking apart after two weeks of wearing them.

Not only did they survive my sordid trip to the Philippines, but I use them for work every day running around like a chicken with my head cut off in places, trust me, you don't want to go. However, the sole insert has started to peel on one side.

I hike a local mountain a couple days a week. It's rugged, steep and rocky, but at age 61 it's not that rugged. The area of the front of the shoes where the black rubber is, wore out very quickly The photos are from day 42 but the wear started much earlier. Shoes probably just fine in the mall but don't bother if you plan on actually hiking.

My husband first bought these shoes at Costco - went back to find more as his were getting a little dingy and worn from frequent wear - and they no longer stocked them. Lucky to find them through Amazon. Probably should have bought several pair. Great value for the price, good product.

Pretty decent shoes. I expected a little more from Fila, though. The black sole leaves scuff marks on my linoleum and hardwood floors, and the rear loop (used to help pull the shoe onto your foot) ripped off the first time I pulled on it. So...

Nice looking shoes, very light, good grip and feel very comfortable. These shoes feel more like trainers and im not sure if they would be any good for hiking. If you are a 9 in Nike you will be a 10 in these so order a size up.

Not the best shoe in the world but still comfortable and good looking.

Split from toe to halfway along shoe after 2 months use.

Comfy, quiet, and fit well, like the looks of them.
