We did switch but you need to drill more wholes

Is this desk good for a PC gaming setup?

Yes, we have used this desk with both a gaming laptop and gaming PC (at different times). We can fit two monitors easily on one side and have a full length mouse mat going under the keyboard and gaming mouse with no issue. We do keep the PC base unit on the floor but there would be enough space on the desk itself
