but it could have been so much better.
Overall this case takes care of my needs, but it could have been so much better.Pros:5.25 bay support. I know they are becoming less and less common but I still like having one and it was a key point in my search for a new case.Dual chamber design. Cable management is awesome; my temperatures are almost 10 degrees cooler than in my old case with the same equipment.240mm radiator support. I don’t have one yet but I am excited about the possibility of adding one the case.Cons:3.5” drive cage is not removable. The cage that holds the hard drives in is riveted in place. This completely negates the large CPU opening. If you want to upgrade your CPU cooler at a later date and you need to install a back plate you’re going to have to pull you motherboard,No rubber cable pass thru grommets. On Antec’s website site it shows no grommets, which is fine; but early photos of the case released on the web had them. It would be a nice feature to have.Feel. The case feels cheap. The power and reset buttons are very light weight and feel flimsily when pressing them. The case is made out of a light gage metal. The front cover of the case is plastic that you pull off with brute force.Dimensions. On Antec’s website the case it listed as 12.3” high. That is the height of the case without the feet on the bottom. The height of the case with the feet is 14 1/8”. This is important to know if you are putting the case in a cabinet or on a shelf.Overall the case is nice but it does not seem worth the 70 dollars that is being charged for it. The non removable 3.5” drive cage is a big deal for me. I feel this is Antec taking the cheap way out. If I want to add water cooling I’m going to have to pull all my cards and cables and remove the motherboard to put a back plate in place. All of this could have been saved with a few screws instead of rivets. Rubber grommets would have been a nice touch and brought the case value closer to its retail price point

Very quiet. Roomy and Well built.
Great case. A bit wider than a standard tower but much shorter. Fits perfectly on top of my 10 inch sub woofer so I recovered a little floor space in my office. The case is sturdy and doesn't have the sharp edges you get with low end cases. There is plenty of room for an internal, top mount two 120mm fan liquid CPU cooler. With a liquid cooled CPU and twin speed controlled 120mm intake fans, my computer is almost silent. There are smaller micro-ATX cases but this one gives you enough room for a comfortable build, a full sized power supply and has tons of room for cable management. I have a twin fan video card and there is room to spare so this should be large enough for whatever ultra mega extreme graphics card you want to install. As a recovering case modder I appreciate the minimalist look. The USB port placement is convenient, and I'm a big fan of top mount ed buttons. The power switch is a bit crunchy but works fine. This does have a laser beam of a blue power LED, but you can either not hook it up or hit it with a black sharpie tone it down.

nothing but the best from Antec
I already had a big linux computer in an Antec P-100, and that was amazing case, but I needed a basic windoze machine as well. My requirement was a "mobile" microATX with exactly 1 5inch external bay. The P50 fit perfectly what I wanted. It's much shorter in height obviously than the full ATX, but it's pretty wide so there is ample space for a lot of components. I won't go into technical details, suffice it to say that it looks very stylish and feels very well made (I'd say better than the pictures). It's also incredibly quiet, which is very important to me. The usb ports on the front are conveniently located, same for the power and reset buttons. The case itself is very light too. The final weight of course is a function of what you put inside, but my guess is that whatever you pack in there you'll end up with a pretty mobile computer and wont' have to break your back lifting it.I've come to expect nothing but the best from Antec and this case did not disappoint me, it's a perfect microATX.

Good case with plenty of airflow
Good case with plenty of airflow. The extra removable HDD and SSD bays make installation a cinch and plenty of room for large expansion cards. My only complaint is that the top bezel around the fan mounds is a tad flimsy and popped off while I was carrying it under the weight of a full build.

Fairly lightweight however study enough. Plenty of room for wire management and ease of building. Lacks space for optical drive. Would buy again.
