stress and pain this great relief for both.
I really love this product it relieves the pain from my back and legs. I have severe lower back pain and my legs tend to cramp up when I sleep. However, when I soak it these bath salts before I go to bed it really helps to relieve my nightly pain. It also relieves my stress and I get an great night sleep. The smell is really strong at first so if you don't like a strong powdery smell you may not want this product, but it doesn't last long and it is a pleasant scent that fills the room. The only problem I have is the price when I first bought this product it was 15.00 dollars and some change. Now it has double in price. I still buy but it is as needed I use less in the tub because of the price hike. but if you can afford it is really worth it.

Perfect to relieve stress on your body and mind.
I am in love with everything Bath Roman, and this Muddy Blue is no exception. While there is a strong almost medicinal scent to it when you first open the tin, once diffused in water it creates a much calmer scent which helps you to relax once in the hot water. The feeling it leaves on your body and skin is very calming and helps to relieve any stress you might have. While I’m certain it doesn’t cost this much in Japan, I’m grateful to have had the chance to get my own tin.

Buy this for the effects, not the scent. (I promise the smell isn't bad, though.)
The other review regarding this being sold as a "new" version of the Bathroman Yuzen is incorrect-- first, this is the Yakuizumi line, and there are three versions of this product; this one happens to be the one specialized for back pain, nerve pain, and shoulder cramps.Like all Bathroman products, these salts improve your bath by adding minerals that soften the water, soothe skin, promote warming the body (a big thing in Japan), and ease aches. In that respect, these are right up there with the rest of the Bathroman bath salt products. This one's just not my absolute favorite because of its scent. It's by no means unpleasant, but it's literally labeled as "Mild medicinal herb scent" on the back, so,... well, that's what you get. (薬=medicine, 草=grass, herb, plant.) Someone else mentioned it smelling a little like cucumbers and I get what they mean! I actually thought it was something like a cross between soap and celery. I assure you it's not bad; it just took me a bit aback at first, so I imagine it almost certainly won't be what you expect either. BUT-- you'll get used to it right away and it's perfectly enjoyable. If you're purchasing this for the effects, it's great. Do it. I always feel better after using it (chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain). If you're in mostly for the color or the scent--- especially if you're really into florals or citruses--- try something else.

Two Different Versions of Muddy Blue Bath Salt
There is some confusion between two different "muddy blue" bath salts from Bath Roman. This one has a more medicinal/flowery smell, and you can see some kind of root on the design of the tin - looks like ginseng root. I purchased this one thinking it was the "newer version" of the other muddy blue bath salt, and upon receiving it, realized it wasn't. I still used it and like the smell well enough. The other version has a sweeter smell, lighter background on the tin, and can be found here:https://www.amazon.com/Bath-Roman-Yakusen-Japanese-Salts/dp/B000FQMMSC/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1523152661&sr=8-4&keywords=muddy+blue&dpID=61OIeQ3i9OL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srchAmazon needs to remove the "there is a newer version of this product" link.
