Covert Cabinet 24" Hidden Concealment Shelf for Gun and Money Storage

We open this product and tried to open it to hang it and we couldn't get it open. We read the instructions and still could not get it open. I don't know if we got a bad one or if the product is no good. But it is not good for the price.

Bought this shelf to hide/store item. It works fine for that and the shelf color and design are as described. The only negatives are the screw holes to hang it are 18 inches apart and our studs are 16 inches apart so we had to use an anchor. The other negative is when the shelf is opened it seems to rub on the wall.

It looks nice, but it grinds to the wall when it opens and it doesn't open smooth at all.... this is definitely a cheap version gun shelf... the manual doesn't give you instructions on how to adjust the latch on the door

Nice item but screw holes need to be in better place. Hard to get an impact in tight space. Otherwise a nice item

One of the issues I had with it was when I would open the shelf the back would hit the wall. The other issue I had was the locking mechanism was junk. It wasn't very secure. I had to remove the lock that it had and I put one of those magnetic baby locks. I would suggest if you purchase this to get a handyman or somebody who's good with his hands to fix it. Or if you don't want to deal with it just spend a little more money for a better one.

You have to push up on the bottom for it to open. It’s not like the video. Run the scan key over it and it opens. You have to run the scan key over and lift the bottom for it to unlatch and open

Nice shelf. Too bad it doesn't have a real lock for safety.
