Klipsch RP-280F Home Theater System Bundle (Cherry with Black Surrounds and Subwoofer) with Denon AVR-X4200W

Was upgrading from Bose Acoustimass with powered sub-woofer - had for over 15 years - never a problem, great sound. 15 years is a life time in the technical world - especially in home theater. I am powering the Klipsch solution with a Denon X4200W. At first I tested everything with default configurations - speaker size, distance, etc. I was actually disappointed - it was no better than the Bose. However, over the next several days I began to tune/configure the solution - back to speaker size, distance, sub-woofer LFE, room configuration, etc. it made a significant difference. the more I tuned the entire solution the better it sounded - and I am not done. The Denon receiver is very feature rich and the Klipsch system is sensitive and yet beefy. LFE from Star Wars - Force Awakens, Jupiter Ascending (yeah, I know), The Equalizer, and Star Trek - Into Darkness - well Damn!. Voices were clear - even during the action, and during intense whispering scenes, etc etc. So - I am now impressed and pleased.

Now that was a change to the sound in our house... I mean the whole house... This thing kicks out a nice volume and especially the subwoofer makes the whole house boom. This replaced our Bose system and is much better in warmth and depth
