Don't believe the hype...Not sturdy at all
My son got this off his Amazon wishlist from his grandparents for his birthday. The backboard is a bit dented, but we built it anyway because it's way too big to deal with returning plus it was a gift. Followed all the directions, put 90 lbs of weight evenly on the base, and the whole thing is super wobbly up top. Really looks like he's going to shoot at it one day, and the whole thing is going to come down in pieces.After so many great reviews, I'm disappointed... Thinking maybe they're not all real?

Cheap metal brackets, make your own!
Within 8 months brackets broke. It’s good, not great for Florida sun. The sun goes through plastic. The side braces that attached to the pile are garbage and super thin metal made in China. I purchased aluminum angle and drilled holes in it and bought a longer screw. So much better that this junk. Company wanted to send me the same braces in 4-6 weeks. Who can wait that long?
