Thomas Gravity Drain Spin Dryer 2800SV Stainless, 4.5kg

This spin dryer is excellent and came in very handy during the pandemic - when our trustee washing machine needed replacing and no-one was delivering new washing machines! It requires careful loading to ensure wet items are evenly spaced out - and works quickly. It performs very well, removing all the water from a hand-washed load. It is slimline and looks attractive too. Brilliant item - thoroughly recommend this item to anyone.

Seller didn't just send it in a manufacturers box, but added their own, so product arrived undamaged. Item looks well made, the light stainless steel drum means it doesn't require as much power and is not heavy to move.. Main advantage is higher spin speed than washers, so it still removes water from items that have been through the washer spin cycle, so clothes are almost dry and therefore dry much quicker.Too soon to comment on reliability, but simple design means there's not much to go wrong. It does the job I wanted it to do. In fact the only critism given the simple design is the cost, but the quality is there.If you want a spindryer that leaves clothes dry then I would recommend this one.

I love the Thomas Gravity Spin Dryer! During lockdown my washing machined died, so having this spin dryer saved me from having to carry laundry to and from the launderette and having to queue to get in! Which would have been risky and a bit of a nightmare!But I do think it's expensive and the price could put it out of reach for lots of people. It also can, and for no apparent reason, be incredibly noisy - so I switch it off and wait a while then turn it on again.

The spin is really powerful. I like that you can stop it whenever you like, so a delicate item needs just 1 min, and you can get the clothes really near iron dry or wrinkle free which ever you need. I do a couple of dog towels daily so this is great, so a 5 mins spin gets them almost dry, much dryer than my w/machine (Bosch). Also great for a really short spin on woollens that have been hand washed. I bought mine as an emergency because w/machine had a fault during lockdown Covid 19 and couldn't get it repaired. I managed to carry it down to the lower ground floor.

Much better alternative than spinners with pumps and hoses. Neat, takes up much less space, always dry (no dripping pipe) The Thomas has a fully perforated drum which reduces the tendency to spin out of balance. It is remarkably quiet, and I have never had a spinner get clothes as dry. Excellent value for money.

I use my spinner daily and it means I can wash, spin , hang up or hang out and even the heaviest clothes are ready for ironing or wearing later on in the day.

This product is well built and robust and it doesn't take up tooo much space I have mine in the corner of the garage. . It was purchased to assist us whilst our washing machine is replaced . The clothes are dry enough to air after spinning

This is the best ever dryer. Having always used washing machines l could not believe how much dryer this gets my washing and in 4/5 minutes. German says it all.
