I have been trying to find a way to get rid of these squirrels around my place. This is the best trap I have used and the most effective. I recommend it to anybody who is having squirrel problems.

What a waste of money. I was expecting something to happen and nothing did - until four days later a squirrel got caught and then promptly escaped. I want to say that squirrel was stunned by the contraption because there WAS a squirrel hanging there one morning but when I went to remove it, it was gone. From the time I saw the squirrel hanging there to the time I went out to remove what I thought would be the carcass was like 1 minute.After that, the trap was sprung EVERY SINGLE MORNING and guess what? The only thing there was a blank space where I put the bait hours before. I put some of the bait pretty far up into the contraption too so after they discovered this thing had food in it, the squirrels seemed to figure out - just spring the trap and then go eat.Wish I could return it but don't even want to go to the trouble of cleaning off all the remnants of the bait. It's going in the garbage.

Update, works best when mounted vertically (tree). Works great with peanut butter, to prevent wiggle out, pilot drill and place screws as in pictures, anchor to something that cant be dragged away. Do not leave at ground level if you have kids/pets and beware if you do leave it out overnight, on ground level, you may catch something you don't want like a skunk!!!!

Again another dealer with no instutions on how to use it. For the price of it , should come with all you need to know on how to use and bait it. Ok, I have used it and the first set got a criter. The next tow sets got one and they got out of it. So now I say not real reliable. buyer be ware!

This is the most amazing squirrel trap. We had ordered various traps and baffles. The squirrels found a way to foil everything until we ordered the Little Killer Tree Squirrel Trap. We have used it for about 3 weeks and have trapped 7 squirrels so far. It’s very humane. The squirrels do not suffer. A great product.

I purchased this trap, along with the recommended butter bait, to trap squirrels invading my bird feeders. Having followed instructions and placing the trap in an area near my feeders that are "frequented daily" by squirrels, I haven't trapped a single varmint since I purchased the trap. Seems like a good idea, but simply doesn't work.

This is the easiest trap I've ever used. It worked on the first day. Every day since. For 4 days now. I cannot say enough about it.

Squirrels keep setting it off and eating the bait. Not one of them has been trapped.
