This stand will fit all TV's including the Sony KDL-xxW829 with the wider offset base
If you want a very high quality TV stand that is height adjustable, can rotate and will not shatter like other tempered glass stands do then this is for you. Yes it is heavy because of the powder coated MDF base so be careful when you order it, ours came in a plastic bag which had been dropped during transit and damaged a corner of the wood base itself - Amazon were kind enough to acknowledge this fault and gave a partial refund for the damage. There are very clear instructions inside, with each set of screws/fittings labelled A-Z and putting the stand together does take between 15-30mins once you have measured the distances needed for clearance and height etc. The only screws missing are ones needed to fix an LG/Samsung/Sony TV to the actual stand and brackets itself, these are advertised on Amazon/eBay as being ''specialist fitting kits'' but they will not be strong enough (see previous comments) and a local hardware store will sell you the 4 high tensile bolts/screws needed for only £0.74p the set. I bought this as a birthday present for my parents after their last stand shattered, dropping the TV onto the floor, and just lifting this almost gave my father a hernia! He likes that it is heavy, that it is height adjustable, that all HDMI and other sockets at the back are easily accessible, and that it rotates freely. It is quite frankly the best stand he's ever had and I would highly recommend this to any future buyer, just make sure you've got the right TV screws before you start, and check for damage if it's been delivered in a plastic bag! Rentliv Mount have produced an exceptional product at a competitive cost, one I hope will last much longer than any of our previous tempered glass stands have, and it's only been let down by the poor packaging used for delivery. All-in-all after tonight I think my parents are very happy with the service from Amazon and the quality of the product itself. The only other suggestions I can make to better this product is they consider fixing a larger gauge flat metal plate, to sandwich the stand, rather than just using a metal brace cross member underneath, and that the base itself was a little bigger at 440mm x 300mm so a Sky box or Blu-ray can sit on top easier. AMAZON HAVE NOW REFUSED TO ISSUE A PARTIAL REFUND, AND REQUEST THE ITEM BE SENT BACK FOR REPLACEMENT! BUT WILL THE REPLACEMENT BE DAMAGED DURING TRANSIT AS WELL?

Great TV stand, easy assembly, Samsung 43" UE43J5500AK, all parts and instructions
Having spent a lot of time researching this type of stand, reading through reviews and after contacting the manufacturer for advice (really helpful), I elected to go for this stand.Myths.Let's dispel some myths - level of the stand. The crossbar can be adjusted quite simply before locking in place, this gave a +/- 5 degree travel either way. Not sure what people who said the TV level was out by 3mm are complaining about. Level the TV, then tighten the bolts, simple!Assembly.I put this stand together in a matter of minutes. What took time was adjusting the stand so that the TV set was at the right height.Height adjustment. There are two sets of height adjustments according to the instruction manual and the blurb on the amazon page - there are more, particularly if your VESA mount is 100mm to 300mm. You can off-centre the VESA mount to gain smaller adjustments of 1.5cms. This is the approach I took to precisely fit surround speakers under the TV. You will need 2 people to place the TV.Things to watch out for.Don’t put any spacers on the ‘hook-side’ of the TV brackets on the supplied VESA mounting bars. That’s because you have to fit the safety locks there and if the screw heads stand too proud, you will not be able to fix these components in place.Parts supplied.Parts, these are detailed in the manual, which I have attached. There's a good range of spacers and VESA mounting screws. In my case, I used the 45mm screws with 2x 10mm spacers on my Samsung 43 " TV (UE43J5500AK). I tested the bolt depth before screwing the bolt into the VESA (finger tightening at first). You might need to buy some washers to properly space and affix the TV as I did, 30 M8 washers were under a £1.00.All supplied parts were really good and I had no issues at all with threads stripping or cross-threading.Additional information. The final pieces of missing information are shown in the supplied diagram, that’s the TV plate is 430mm x 110mm (width x height).Good luck!

Perfectly Functional and Reasonably Priced
Product delivered in sturdy cardboard packaging, but with a disturbing amount of plastics to wrap the internals - tissue paper would be more eco-friendly! All assembly items are however very easily identified by being packaged individually and not as a lucky dip. Also included is a range of mounting bolts to cater for a variety of mounting options, including curved screens, and a couple of quality cable ties. The supplied instructions are very clear and easy to follow. My package also included an HDMI cable of unknown specification.Assembly is very straightforward and I had no trouble locating any of the parts. An hex key is supplied, but you'll need a 10mm socket or spanner to secure the bolts holding the backplate to the main upright (care needed when tightening, see below). I managed to mount a 55inch OLED without assistance, but would highly recommend phoning a friend!Once assembled and with the screen attached - there are several mounting heights to choose from - the stand feels very stable. More stable than standard LG table mount, actually. Overall, the quality of parts is very good, but my upright had a small chip in the powdercoat along with some bubbling on the surface - this is hidden from view in my setup, so not really a problem.I almost had a problem when securing the four bolts to the upright, as it is very easy to over-tighten them and crush the upright - some internal reinforcement here would have been preferable. This is the only weak point to the design in my opinion. The base itself is well finished in a satin black with rubberised feet and provides a perfect space for my centre speaker. Ventilation behind the screen is also improved for me.At this price point, no complaints. It does the job.
