Marmara Authentic Nut Free Turkish Delight Candy / Sweet Confectionery Gourmet Gift Box Candy Dessert (Cogan Mint, Large)

Bought 2 boxes:Large box, 8.8oz, Cogan Watermelon, got a whole 7 pieces.Med box, 4.4oz, Rose, got 6 pieces, one less than the larger box!The large 8.8oz box of watermelon, to me had little to no flavor, this is the first time I’ve ever tried this treat. The best way to describe the taste is if you took unflavored dough, wrapped it around a Swedish fish, and sprinkled powdered sugar on it. I don’t know how else to explain the taste. Very very disappointed in the amount I received in both boxes, I feel like both the company and several reviewers lied to me to get me to waste my money on the bigger box. I have 4 kids and a husband, do the math, we all got one out of each box to try and that’s it. With the exception of one leftover piece. Very very disappointed with this entire purchase experience. Also the swirl watermelon are very very chewy so if you have sensitive teeth, theses aren’t for you.The med 4.4oz box of Rose, got 6 pieces In that one. These taste exactly like you would think a Rose water flavored juju would taste like, I didn’t like the other flavors so I thought I’d try this trying to get as close to a berry type flavor as possible, even banana would be better than this one. I feel like I just ate my facial toner rose water in a solid form. If this is a treat you really like, I recommend any other brand, don’t waste your money or ruin your favorite treat by buying these.As far as box size goes, there’s barely an INCH and a half difference between the actual space the treat is in from the 8.8oz vs 4.4oz. You would think since the bigger is twice the size of the smaller you would get more than one more treat, but you would be very wrong, as they were only one piece different. I personally will never recommend this brand nor purchase this brand ever again. Two boxes, two chances to impress a new customer, twice I was seriously disappointed and dissatisfied!

I've been buying Marmara's Turkish Delight in several flavors for a while now, and they have all been amazing. My favorite flavor has been the coconut hazelnut, which is so good it's like you're eating something out of Willy Wonka's factory or some kind of dream world. The varieties made with cogan (fluffy white marshmallow-type stuff) are positively dreamy as well. Every box I order from Marmara has been jam-packed full of cubes, and I enjoy having one or two with tea in the morning or after dinner as a light dessert. I am so glad Marmara makes their Turkish Delight vegan, too!I branched out and tried a few new flavors this past week, including kiwi, praline, cacao, and few others. Unfortunately I seem to have come across a dud flavor: satsuma. A satsuma is a small citrus fruit similar to a mandarin orange. I grew up in south Florida and am a huge fan of all varieties of citrus fruit; I love citrus candy, too. But the satsuma flavor of this Turkish Delight was bitter and acrid, like orange cleaner mixed with PineSol. I took one bite and couldn't even finish the cube. My husband, the self-proclaimed "human garbage disposal" who will eat any candy or confection within reach, gave the satsuma Turkish Delight a questioning sniff, frowned, placed it back in the box, and walked away. Alas, I threw the rest in the compost bin.That won't stop me from buying other flavors, though. Definitely recommended -- just not the satsuma flavor. ;)

I really wish I had read the description a little bit better, I opened it (the plastic sealing had already opened a bit so powdered sugar got everywhere!) and I was really disappointed to see how much effort they put into making the package look like it has more candy. Kind of a rip off. I paid $1 a piece for some gummy candy.... never again. It tastes ok but definitely not worth the price

(1st pics large, last pics are large box, but not 2 inches as advertised)The first box flavor was light, but this last box i got today.the watermelon flavor was much stronger.We really love the taste& texture w/the Cogan.But the first large pieces were almost 2 inches longs.as advertised.the second box were 1 inch and the company shipped out a replacement& them were not 2inches either.We don't know if the company is making mistakes or purposely sending out the 1 inch instead of the 2inch pieces that are supose to be in the large box& thetes supose to be 10-12 pieces.I think it said.We told them about this, but they obviously don't care to fix this.Won't he ordering more.unless they fix it.!!

This used to be the best Turkish Delign I had found in any store or online. The texture and flavor was perfect. However some time ago there was a recipe change and now the candy has a cheap feel and almost no flavor. It's the texture of a soft eraser now and what used to be a robust, fresh flavor is now just gone. I had asked several months ago if this was a permanent change and they said no, something went wrong at the factory. But I ordered another box now thinking the error would be fixed and I got another box of hard rubber, flavorless candy. I miss how this candy used to be. It's not worth the money anymore

This arrived within 24 hours and tastes delicious and fresh made. This was my first purchase from this brand, I have another flavour coming tomorrow and I can't wait to give it a try too. I have visited Turkey a few times and have family there, I have eaten Lokum (Turkish delight) a lot of times there, it tastes very authentic to me. Very soft texture. Looking forward to explore more flavours. There were a total of 8 small pieces in this box (medium 4.4 oz). If you really like Lokum, I recommend getting more, cause this box is good for one person, maximum two.

The best Turkish delight on Amazon, or anywhere for that matter outside of Turkey. Very fresh tasting and I love that this brand does not use artificial ingredients. Makes for a delicious treat! I wish they had more flavors with cogan! Sooooo good!!!! I will be stocking up.
