Transcend Car Lighter Adapter DrivePro Dash Cam Series

This item was used to power the dash cam in another car. I route the cable around the window and down to the power outlet. The excess is stowed behind the dash. That way I can move the camera from car to car and not have any cables dangling in my view.

Works well...hoped that the cable that connects to camera would go down instead of up

good solid equipmentplease note if plugging into a socket by gear stick ie Mondeo 2007-2010 its size will hamper using first gear and is not long enough if installed as per instructions (around window down pillar back to centre console)to reach back socket

This was bought as a replacement for the original adapter which came with the camera.The original one disintegrated after very little use but the replacement seems to be sturdy and of a better quality.I contacted the firm which supplied the original but they totally ignored my e-mail.

This cable saved me from buying a new dash cam.

I'm unsure if car-cams are picky about voltage, but every other connector I have used, didn't work. This did. Mini-usb connector, to cigarette lighter, well built, does the job.

Perfect length for concealed wiring. I was able to run the wiring concealed along the top and across to the rubber seals by the door then under the carpet to emerge next to the hand brake. It can't be seen from the outside and even when inside it's hard for anyone to notice it.
