Coleman 75 Can Collapsible Sport Cooler

We bought this as the largest available collapsible cooler, planning to leave it in our car trunk to keep frozen and cold groceries safe without having to drive straight home immediately. And this does work well for that purpose, easily holding two full paper bags of groceries, and keeping them nicely cold as we run other errands before returning home. It also eases getting the groceries in from the garage, as the handles work well for taking the groceries inside without removing them from the cooler.Collapsing the empty cooler for storage isn't trivial, but is entirely doable, and the resulting package stores easily compared to when it's open.I do wish the sides stood up a bit more firmly for easier insertion of a bag of groceries, and could have done without the hard top can holder lid, which just takes up extra space in my use.Overall, good enough for our needs, but perhaps someday we'll find one even better for this use.

Okay I'm editing my original review to increase to 4 stars after actually using the coolers. Here is the original:Ordered two of these to use at an upcoming party. I picked this cooler because it appeared to have stiff sides. I got them today and the cooler appears to be well made; it has a internal folded panel that stiffens the sides. No stiffener for the front and back. The stiffeners attach with a roughly 3 inch velcro strip, but it doesn't hold that well. One of the coolers came with an assembly defect; the velcro strips on the stiffener were of the wrong type (soft not hooked) so they would not lock with the soft velcro on the sides. Will have to return that one. Even with the stiffener the front and rear sides sag so the result is much like a soft sided tote. There are numerous soft sided coolers that cost much less, hence the 2 stars.New:Used them yesterday for a house party. They are very rugged and they do a great job keeping the drinks cold. 30 hours later the ice is still ice. They are rugged and people liked the bottle opener. The flap stiffener is okay and once you have it full of beer the velcro doesn't matter. Don't think I'll bother returning the one with the defective velcro. The soft sides do bulge but that actually allows a bit more capacity. All and all a nice product that looks like it will give some years of good service. Also they are quite waterproof -- no leaks on the floor, despite being full of water/ice all night.

We needed a collapsable cooler to take to the grocery store for transporting frozen food in the Arizona heat. We also used it for ice for a party. It kept the ice cold during the party, and despite some reviews to the contrary, it has not leaked any water. There has been at least 2 inches of water in the cooler for about two days now with no leakage at all. After five days, the water still had not leaked.I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the handles are not accessible when the cooler is collapsed. The cooler is somewhat heavy due to the rigid top and bottom. Without a carrying handle, it is a lot of dead weight to lug around, even for short periods.

This cooler will hold more than 75 cans and actually does a good job of keeping things cool, for a collapsible cooler. Also, there is a very functional Velcro pocket that spans the entire lid and is perfect for things that need to stay cool, but have a tendency to disappear into the bottom of the cooler, like hot dogs or lunch meats.I have used this several times and it folds up nicely, and is very well built. Living in an apartment and driving a compact car, this makes camping, tailgating, etc., much easier to accomplish.The only complaint I have is that it does not have a drain spout, but that is not a deal-breaker. I would definitely buy this again!

Like others, my hard liner tore. That is a very important piece– especially if you want to use those nice cup holders on top. The cooler does not hold shape without it. Knowing how easily the hard liner material tore, I would imagine the liner on the soft body (seems to be same material) could tear just as easily. Also to note, contrary to some Q&A, this cooler does leak. Unless the cooler is kept upright, it will leak out the zipper. I would not recommend this product.

Well made and good size (smaller size for folding type are a dime a dozen, but hard to find one this size). Stitches are well made, canvas look durable. 4 stars instead of 5 for the price (could be a few $ lower).

Perfect gift for the RV campers in our family. Collapsible to a flat/compact size when not in use - they loved it (especially the added bonus of the bottle opener zipper). Quality and sturdy - can't go wrong with Coleman.

Carried this on an airplane for a camping trip so folding was essential. Kept my food cold for 48 hours. Was bigger than I expected. Easily fit a 10 pound bag of ice and my food needs.
