Definitely Worked
Frankly, I didn't think this was going to work. Especially after I failed to program it correctly the first time, I assumed it had to be a piece of junk. But I studied the directions closely and tried it again and it worked on my second try. It does everything it's supposed to do. I have a 1999 Honda Civic and had the original key thing for years, the button on my old one still lights up but nothing happens. I will try to see if I can reprogram the original one, kind of just assumed it was too old. Anyway, this gave me hope. It's nice to be able to set the alarm again and just press a button to lock or unlock the doors. The only thing is, I wish the quality of the plastic was closer to the original, this one has a slightly different texture. All in all a great replacement if you lose the original one or if it breaks. Also, would be great if it had a longer distance reach, but it's a great alternative to have. Overall I was satisfied with this.

Works great!
Worked great, just like factory. Used the factory instructions for adding a remote and it went flawless. Came with a battery that is still working months later. No issues at all with this remote. Looks as close to factory as you will find, also. Seems to have a similar range to the factory unit also.

It works pretty good.
Even though I had the issue with door lock actuator of the driver side door, the remote works for my 1999 Civic Lx after replacing the actuator by myself. The reason why I give 3 stars only is the range issue. It is pretty short range I feel, but works perfectly except that.I didn't take the remote from previous owner, but it works. My vehicle has original audio box with cd player.P.s.Initially, I want to get the remote with trunk, but I can't be guaranteed it works for my vehicle, so I choose this. If anyone use the remote with trunk button on 1999 Civic Lx, plz reply for me. Thanks.

Took seconds to program don't need to have stock radio
Met every expectation. Haven't had a remote for the 2000 civic in years. Took ten seconds to set up. I can finally set the alarm again!!! Bought a second one i loved it so much. And also would like to note that you can still program this remote even after switching out the stock radio. I installed a Bluetooth radio last Christmas and was worried it wouldn't program without the original radio but was the easiest programming I've ever done.

Perfect
2000 Civic si, car didn't come with the fob when I bought it, been putting it off for a year thought it would suck, within 10 minutes of the mailman handing me the package it was set and working perfect! Range is so/so but not sure how far the factory one worked!

Check device site first
Make sure to first check if your car will accept remote by using site that this device came from at http://remotesremotes.com, I needed the factory radio which I did not have. Response from their support team."John (remotes)Dec 21, 09:08Thank you for contacting us!The 1998 Honda Civic Programming Instructions is the only procedure that will work on the vehicle. If you don't have the factory radio, you need to go to a dealer or a qualified locksmith to have your vehicle program."

Didn't work for my mom's 95 Accord
This keyfob didn't work for my mother's car. We followed the programming exactly and could never be it to sync. It's a nice, sturdy keyfob otherwise but since it didn't work, I can't give it 5 stars.

Saved me tons of money, worth looking up a video for setup
This key fob is great, and saved me a great amount of money for the 2000 Honda Civic that I just bought. Setup was a little bit more cryptic than anticipated. (might be because I’m stupid) anyways, you can find videos on YouTube for programming it if the written instructions don’t seem super clear. Works great though!
