Kit xChange Travel Beading & Jewelry Making Board (Blue)

I really love the idea for beaders and am definitely keeping it. The kit does have obvious design flaws though as mentioned by other reviewers. The fabric on the pad is super stretchy and not attached to the base. So on those rare occasions when you grab it with your needle, other beads jump and fly away like on trampoline. There is also an unnecessary gap between the main pad and the border where all small beads will inevitably go and vanish. I will probably just cover the entire surface with fabric of my choice. But if I do that it becomes rather pricey...

I'm so happy this beading board was available on Amazon. The shipping was very fast. Love this beading board I like it is longer than other beading boards and the surface is so soft. You also have the nice zipper closure and a see-thru zippered pocket in the inside. Order one soon. They also have the larger size which I ordered as well. Great affordable beading board and case. Thank you Alicia Klein for a great product.

I have the larger version of this travel beading board and it is really big. So, I thought I would try this one to use for my beading club meetings. The board is big enough to give a nice work space for making bracelets, necklaces and earrings. I do bead weaving so this works out perfectly. I can carry what I need to do one or two projects. I can carry a pair of snips and a couple of bobbins of thread along with extra needles. I carry most of my heavier tools in a separate case.This isn’t ideal for people who like stringing beadwork. I don’t feel the surface is large enough for that. The bigger model would be good for stringing.I suggest keeping the foam filler that comes with the kit. It holds your work perfectly while traveling!

I purchased the baguette for travel, and it's a perfect size. As mentioned in another review, the fabric is not glued down (but there WAS glue on top of the fabric?!), so I threw a bead mat trimmed to size on top and it's good to go. The mat can be tucked down around the board and doesn't move. Keep the foam that's included inside to hold loose beads down when zipping up.The pocket holds a nice amount of tools and spools, overall it's a nice little to-go package.

Love my new beading case. It's perfect for trips to the beach as well as going to my monthly beading club. I bought the smaller size and it's perfect for 1 or 2 beading projects as well as carrying my tools and patterns. A definite must have. I ordered from Amazon and it are in great condition. Will definitely recommend this beading case to friends.

Really well-made, I’m using my case at home when working in my lap as well as when I travel. Perfect size to slip into a tote, beads and tools are secure. Very soft plush velvety fabric feels lush.

Great idea, not a large enough or deep storage area. Anything in the zipper storage area leaves a mark on the fabric. Also the fabric is thin and my needle kept picking it up.It didn't work for me

This case is too heavy for travel. And doesn't work for seed beads - gap between soft bottom and border, as mentioned in previous reviews. The solution may be removable soft bottom.
