My Tripplite 2200va UPS had started just fast clicking. Had it for nearly 9 years, guess it was time for a new battery. Installed new battery, UPS good as new. Recycled the old one.

My Tripplite HT850UPS started shutting down randomly multiple times a day. Though the troubleshooting said it was an overload, I had my doubts as nothing has been added or removed from the UPS. So I suspected the battery needed replacement and I picked this one since it was recommended by Tripplite. (I debated a cheaper version but ultimately I wanted a reliable battery that wouldn't blow up and hoped that Tripplite's recommendation would give me assurances that the battery manufacturer was reliable and the product wasn't shoddy.)The battery arrived well-packed and swapping the battery out of the unit was quick and easy. The hardest part was unplugging everything, hauling the heavy unit out from behind the entertainment center and the biggest headache was plugging everything back in! (I'm pretty sure that no matter how well you tie and organize cords and cables, they secretly have wild parties at night or spontaneously tie themselves into one big mass of wires!) At any rate, it's been weeks and I haven't had a single shutdown since (though I bet if I look back thee now my cables will be a mess again!).Bottomline: I'm very happy with this replacement and definitely recommend for the HT850UPS.

These worked well.I bought two, the company shipped them (inadequately packaged), I might add, and one was damaged on arrival.I contacted them and they had me take digital pictures.They then shipped out a new one, as well as a mailer for the old battery.I was very pleased with them.I didn't know these went bad in about three years; the old ones were almost impossible to remove.They had swelled up, and I had to use a screwdriver to prize them out of each UPS.So.... replace these after about 2 1/2 years to save yourself some trouble.The replacements are working fine.They were very hard to install, as the leads were quite short, but it's apoor design on the UPS's part, not the battery manufacturer.

I have had a Tripp Lite Smart UPS for probably well over 5 years and when the battery started to go I realized it would be well over $100 to get anything close to what I already had. This battery replacement was exactly what I needed. I got it in within a couple of days of ordering. 2 screws to take my case off, a couple of wires and done. In 5 minutes I had my UPS working like new. It's been a couple months and no issues. Highly recommend the seller.

This battery pack was very easy to install. After removing the cover, I was able to disconnect & remove the old one and then the new one slid right back in without a hitch. It was even possible to do it without powering the UPS or my servers off!One word of caution, however - - at least on my UPS, there are some plastic spacers surrounding the installed battery. Make sure to take note of their position & put them in place before installing the new battery - otherwise, you may encounter some difficulty getting everything to line up properly.

Well, color me schooled. The question mark on my DOA title refers to the fact that I'm not entirely sure, because I bought the battery and kept it in its manufacturer box for about 9 months before attaching it to the terminals on my SmartPro UPS. Then, I didn't actually turn on the UPS until today, over 2 months later, to find a...dead battery. WompWomp. I'd heard stories that this has happened to others, but from 3rd party manufacturers/resellers, and not so much from Tripp Lite themselves. But there you go. This was something like my 4th replacement battery for the Smartpro. I guess 1dud out of 5 needs to be tolerated? Otherwise, have always been happy with Tripp Lite products.

RBC-51 batteries cost about double because of the odd size you can't find anywhere else. Tripp Lite batteries are the only ones with their dimensions with F2 connectors that will fit in the Smart1300LCDT. All other replacement batteries that meet the electrical specs are a tad too wide or a tad too tall or have F1 connectors instead of F2. Two RBC-51 replacement batteries are giving me 24 minutes of runtime with 165W load in my Smart1300LCDT. The specs on a new Smart1300LCDT list 23 minutes for a 200W load. 18-month is going have less amp-hrs than a 3 yr battery. My original batteries lasted 6 years 7 months. I'm hoping for 2 years with these replacements.
