LG Electronics 5301EL1001J Dryer Heater Assembly

This fits perfectly, only requires two screws to mount inside the dryer (you will need to disassemble the dryer though so watch a youtube video).Our dryer had been working well until the past year; I replaced the door sensor and every other sensor and the dryer started failing 6-weeks later. The dryer door was again turning on when I shut it. I replaced the heating element and within two loads my door is again closing and not turning on automatically. I believe that once you run the dryer so many times and it gets wet or damp inside it affects other electronics which may have caused the door sensor to or the sensor for dry or temp to send the wrong signals. Boy does this put out heat. No more watching a 44-minute load run 60-minutes to dry and shut off!

This is advertised as what appears to be an OEM LG part. I ordered it and when I received it it did not have LG tag on it. I don't know for sure if this is aftermarket but I installed it in my dryer after it kept blowing its thermal fuse and it seems to work fine. Have only had it installed for a few weeks but it works just fine. Only time will tell how good this replacement is. I gave it 5 stars because best price for this part and it works like it should.Item description should be more descriptive as to whether this is LG or aftermarket.

If you have to go through the disassembly procedure of your dryer to replace any of the temp sensors or thermal cut off/outs, replace this part as well. It guarantees proper temperature output and is fresh and clean, eliminating any "burnt dust" odors. And, your machine will operate as well as when new. AND, you will have the piece of mind knowing you won't have to do it again for at least another 12 - 15 years or more. It's really nice that the LG is a highly serviceable unit built to last.

The test of time will ultimately determine my rating of this component. It was fairly easy to install with a YouTube instruction video that showed how to install this exact unit in my exact dryer (which I had to find on my own ... if the component came with a suggested link to this video, it would have earned a 5 star rating thus far). If this unit fails before a reasonable time, I will update my rating.

PROCUCT WAS SUPER EASY TO INSTALL SHIPPING WAS FAST AND ARRIVED 10 DAYS EARLY. NO EXTRA WIRES ON THIS THAT DIDNT ADD UP OR ANYTHING LIKE I READ IN OTHER REVIIEWS. PRODUCT WAS LIKE FOR LIKE. GRATEFUL TO HAVE MY DRYER UP AND RUNNING FOR $60 VS $850 FOR A NEW DRYER.THIS WAS REPLACED ON AN LG TROMM THAT IS PROBABLY 13 YRS OLD BUT NOW RUNS LIKE NEW AGAIN.

Our dryer was working but not heating so nothing was getting dry. After several YouTube videos, I came to the conclusion that it was the heating element and ordered this through Amazon. After more YouTube videos to help with the installation, I got it fixed and it's been working great ever since. It's not easy to get to the heating element so don't be worried when you're basically taking the whole dryer apart. It goes back together pretty easily.

Dryer quit blowing heat. Searched a few online videos to determine possible issues. Ordered this heater, and installed perfectly. Online video available that takes you step by step with just a couple tools. Way easier than I thought. Dryer has remained working properly with no issues. Worth the money

So our dryer air all of a sudden was cold. I watched a ton of videos and narrowed it down to this piece, figured we’d give it a go before paying for a technician or buying a new dryer. My husband and I were able to replace it in about an hour and our dryer is as good as new!
