Great Drill
Great drill. Very powerful. Blasts through concrete like butter. My only problem was that one of the batteries that came with it does not last very long. One battery has great life, but the other does not. I'm guessing that one battery is just defective.

Very good for the price
They are really good and and work fine. We use Ryobi and for the price are really good. I use them until they brake and they brake after a lot of abuse. I am happy to buy these tools all the time.

Good product, good value
I was just looking for replacement of the old style Ryobi batteries, which I was getting really dissatisfied with. Did some research, and saw that the lithium-ion batteries were a lot better. This package seemed like a great value - the special charger, two batteries, and a drill for about the price of the individual batteries and charger. The batteries perform much better than the old style - I was sawing 2x9s and got through many before the battery gave out - and then the second was ready. I really didn't need a new drill, but I like this new one a lot better than the old, and I think the hammer feature will come in handy for masonry.

Great product! Misleading offer by supplier?
The bad rating is NOT about the Ryobi drill. In fact this drill and other Ryobi One+ tools are wonderful. I have many Ryobi tools, ranging from drill to gras trimmer, and they are all very practical, versatile and durable and I am fully satisfied using them. What I DISLIKE with this order is that the supplier Ark Valley Sales advertised the product as a complete set (including 2 batteries) in "as good as new" condition. What I received was a heavily taped-up cardboard box and NO batteries included. Very misleading so a no-brainer to return immediately!

Excellent hammer drill addition to the One+ line
Pros: Fully-functioning hammer drill/drill/driver at a great price.Cons: Not quite as efficient as a corded hammer drill, but still gets the job doneI've used this tool for all three of it's rated duties, including boring through block and poured concrete. It's never let me down, and is great on battery life. The hammer drill setting functions as it should, the drill has multiple speeds and good RPM and trigger control, and the torque settings on the driver clutch work great for safely and firmly seating fasteners. The only cons would be that this model doesn't have a depth gauge (though I think Ryobi does sell a different One+ hammer drill with one), and it's not quite as fast or efficient in hammer drilling as my corded Bosch hammer drill is (meaning just a handful of seconds slower to bore a hole, nothing too significant). Then again, you can't really expect that level of performance from a cordless tool, and it still got the job done without any hassles. Honestly, with the toolless chuck and cordless operation, I was probably done with the boring job faster with this tool even though the actual drilling was slower, as I didn't have to fetch an extension cord, plug everything in, and crank down the bit in the chuck with the chuck key.

Reliable tool and great value.
Love this one. Has been 2 years and batteries still charge like new and everything works great and is one tool that just gets used a lot.
