Effective, inexpensive solution!
I needed to repair the top leather part of my work boot, as it was tearing away from the sole near my big toe. It was still a relatively mild tear (about 3 inches long, 1/8 inch wide), but water could seep in and it was bound to get worse. This shoe goo saved me! I cleaned the material thoroughly with a wet rag and later alcohol (as per instructions), waited for it to dry completely. I applied 3 thin coats over 72 hours. The shoe goo seals the tear completely when applied correctly, and is flexible. It has withstood all the flexing that happens at the big toe area.I don’t expect it to last forever, but ITV extended the life of my work boot to get me through this season. It has lasted 2 months of regular use so far—in tough terrain and bad weather. I’m happy!

Holds well under active use
No dislikes, we used clamps and worked great on casual loafers with active use.

Shoe glue that actually works
I have purchased this product twice to repair a dime sized hole and tear at the flex point of my leather cowboy boots that I wear daily. This product lasts for a little longer than one year wearing the boots everyday and that's the only product I've ever found that actually works for this much wear and tear on the boot.PROSIt works and works well! This product will actually bond to leather and rubber and stay bonded with flexing, daily wear, moisture, oils and cleaning products, scuffing, etc.Work boot tough. I've literally worn the boots everyday on a cattle farm ranch through mud rocks hay tractor running squatting kneeling walking walking walking.Easy to use. Open the cap and squeeze it out. Thick, not runny or thin.CONSDries cloudy milky not clear in many places (which isn't a big for me). The clear places have a very wet glossy look. Main point: for some leathers your repair may not be inconspicuous and may be very noticeableLong drying time after applying (but worth the wait)Cannot be dyed polished or covered with standard color matching leather products, so of it's a visibly obvious repair it stays visibly obvious.TIPSThis product seems perfect to apply in the manner that is depicted on the product package image, which is a protective layer over leather. Want to consideration with this is that it will seal the leather in a way that certainly protects and keeps water out, but will also prevent moisturizers from being able to get to the leather meaning your leather will eventually dry out under the glue.Use latex gloves while applying - it's sticky! For large holes or tears use a piece of soft cotton like an old t shirt that is 30% larger than the repair site on the inside of the shoe as a patch with a thin layer of glue on both sides of the patch.Put a thin layer of glue on the inside of the repairGoes on with the consistency of rubber cement, dries with a final texture like an acrylic hot glue stick. This product is perfect for repairing work shoes but some considerations should be made for repairing dress shoes given a few dynamics of the way the final dried product. Again, I purchased this product twice and repaired the same hole twice--once per year--on a pair of leather cowboy boots that I wear daily. Without the repair those boots were headed for the garbage. The durability of the product has been impressive. On the first repair I did not use a cotton backing patch and did not put glue on the inside. On the second repair I did and it is even better.Notes: I have not tried this product on any other shoe and I have no information to share regarding the repair such as reattaching a sole or heel. I have used it to glue a torn insole and it has been comfortable and flexible with a repair to rubber foam.

Sticky Goo
This stuff is great ! More sticking power than Flex glue and stays flexible. For shoes or boots that flex and bend when you move it doesn't split or crack or leak. Works on neoprene gloves and footwear too.

Clear not brown product
The product works, but its not brown as O thought was Advertised. It's clear so its very visable over brown boots but they do the job. It does need to be reapplied after a few weeks if your doing a tough job as my finace is an ironworker.

Think Twice Before Using As It Can Make Your Shoes Worse Than They Are
Does not work as described. Is so thick you can't spread or get it even and if you try to smooth it out it becomes cloudy and gets a gummy/grainy/sandy (not sure how to describe it)?? consistently. Which you have to pull off -- put be careful because it will remove the material off of the shoe when you pull on it. Best way to remove it is by rubbing, then it will roll off. I wish I had never used it.
