Xerox108R00725 Solid Ink Phaser 8560/8560MFP, Yellow (3 Sticks) Sealed Xerox Box

I had made the mistake of purchasing an off-brand version of inks that was supposedly for the Xerox 8560 printer. Needless to say, it did not work. The printer did not recognize the presence of the ink and said that it was still out of ink (the off-brand inks are not the same shape as the Xerox brand inks). After carefully extracting the off-brand ink from the printer and putting in the Xerox brand, I was back in business.I know the Xerox inks cost more, but they actually work. The company I purchased the off-brand inks from wouldn't take the return either, so learn from my mistake and just buy the Xerox brand. That way you won't pay twice.

I only buy xerox ink. Printer is to expensive to mess up with substandard ink products.

Xerox Phaser Solid Ink for your printer is really expensive, very brittle, and is difficult to get out of the printer if you do not want to use it in the printer anymore. The ink (wax, really) functions as it should. It only fits in a specific ink color tray because of the unique shape - it is really hard to put in the incorrect spot. Like anything from Xerox, the quality is pretty high, but so is the cost.

I had a real problem with my 8560 printer after using some cheaper LD branded ink in it. Thinks were all stopped up and I was afraid the printer was a goner. I had to run the cleaning cycle multiple times until all the old ink was pushed through. Now I once again get clean sharp prints without clogged jets. Saving a bit can cost you big time.The boxes I received are original with hologram, but I think destined for the Asian market, not that I care, so long they are original and work fine.

I ordered this 4 color pack of Xerox 8560 solid ink (sold by Pilot Princess and fulfilled by Amazon), but only received one box of 3 yellow sticks. There was a label on that box that had been affixed over the Xerox printed barcode that stated it was the 4 color set. I paid for 15 total sticks and received only 3. I have had to email and call Amazon, and now have been told that I have to return the yellow ones in order to get a credit, and then have to re-order. i pointed out that this error could happen again since the product is mis-labeled. Obviously I don't want to order the same item from this vendor because there is something wrong with the way it is packaged for shipment. This is an expensive item, and I'm not happy about having to start over again and being without my $317 and without the ink for 2 weeks.UPDATE: Amazon says it's the seller's responsibility to send things to them in proper order for shipping. Pilot Princess says she's had issues with this before, and Amazon has been making the error. Either way, something isn't right and now I'm searching for a new supplier for these expensive inks.

The exact product that we ordered, made for the Xerox Phaser that we have and in good condition - the expiry date is important and this one was decent enough to make us happy.

I work for a government agency that depends on an HP color printer for certain aspects of the job. When the ink gets low, we need to make sure it is replaced in a timely manner. We ordered the Yellow ink sticks from Amazon, and as usual, the product was delivered promptly and with no issues.

This ink prints amazing pictures and stunning business documents. I only wish it were not so expensive. I stick with the Xerox ink to avoid damaging my very expensive printer.

Whats there to say. A crayon that the printer writes with. Does what you'd expect.
