IRONLACE - Paracord 550 Laces Type III, Heavy-Duty, Universal Boot & Shoe Laces

Tough lace. Stays tied. Will definitely outlast the boot. Have had a couple of months. They really are excellent.Comes in a pack of two. Worth paying for two pair to get the one pair.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing these and saw that people stated the became untied very easily. I decided to order anyway. Yes for the first month they were coming untied easily. But after the first month ( I wear these boots everyday) the laces don't untie themselves anymore!

My only complaint is the shoelaces don’t stay tied very well, like they are very slippery…

Bought these laces to replace my Danner boot laces that after a light year of duty have torn apart. These seem so far to be stronger than the laces that my boots came with. Will definitely recommend and buy again for future boots.

These laces seem like they are well-made. However, the product package had been opened previously and the laces were just shoved inside in a wad. I paid for new laces, not used/returned ones.

I do like these Ironlace 550 Paracord laces. They are strong and durable. Here is a possible solution to the slipperiness problem that many people complain about. Apply mink oil to the laces. Gently work in some baking soda to the last 10 inches or so to each end of each lace. This will reduce the slipperiness of the area used when tying the laces. Baking soda does not get gooey when wet. I've done this many times before and it seems to have little effect on the normal wear & tear.

Wow, these laces are in it for the long term! I put them in both pairs of walking shoes that I own, and after nearly a year, I can see no signs of wear. Definitely worth the investment.
