Casio #10231233 Genuine Factory Replacement Band for Sea-Pathfinder Multi Band 5 - SPW1000-2V (Blue)

Although there is a q/a that says that this band does not fit the Casio PAW 1200, it does. I compared pictures of this band with the green replacement that I bought 7 years ago when I couldn’t find a black replacement, and it’s the same plastic. I’ve worn the green one, even though I didn’t like the color with this watch, and now that it’s breaking I was happy to find this one instead. I followed those same instructions on YouTube that everyone does, and it fits just fine. Here’s pictures of it on my beat-up-but still-running 1200.

This was an exact replacement for my Casio Pathfinder Triple Sensor Solar watch. The original lasted about 7 years. I wear the watch daily and also use it for scuba diving. The original broke where I bend it back when putting into the clasp. I think 7 years is ABOVE average for the life of this band. Normally I only see about 5 years from others' reviews. I am glad that I did this myself because I was able to spend extra time cleaning out all of the "gunk" that built up under the band, etc. Although these did not come with any instructions - I was able to find U-tube videos on how to remove the band and replace. If you replace yours I suggest that you watch some of those videos BEFORE you start taking the band off. You don't want to break something.I am happy with this purchase since it breathed new life into my favorite watch - hopefully another 7 years.

Wrong item and too difficult to return!

Perfect factory replacement. These last me exactly five years--- I bought the watch in 2007 and had the band start to tear in 2012 and again in 2017. Replacement is straightforward; you just need to pry the ends of the crescent-shaped metal pieces out (away from the edge of the band) and shake out the spring-loafed pins. Before you install the new band, pry the small plastic crescent on the outside of the band (mine is gray) off of the non-clasp side strap--- the new band doesn't include one, and it needs to go in before you re-insert the pin. Overall, though, about a five-minute job to replace both straps, and the only tool required is a thin metal pry bar or very flat screwdriver.

I like that it was just what I wish... I was soooo excited. I take very good care of my things... and the watch wore morning , noon, night....and the band gave out... no watch shop had it... so it was soooo nice I could find it on line... soooo happy... because it’s a great watch..::

Beautiful and original and dark blue that does not clash with black watch in any way and actually might look more modern in blue.
