Awesome purchase
I was doing some research about life jackets for a couple weeks. My son no longer fit a life jacket in a life jacket up to 50lbs. He actually weighed a less than 50 but the old one was just a bit too tight. The next size up was 50-90, call me crazy but that’s a huge size gap. Finding this jacket 50-75 was a risk since there were no reviews. But it fits him great and will definitely last. For reference he is a 5 year old boy who is just about growing out of 4/5 to 6/7

Very light and comfortable able
My 6/7 year old is 4ft and around 45 pounds. This fir him perfectly with room to grow. He never once complained about wearing it. He even wore it at the beach when the waves were rough.

Good vest
Was listed as a youth large when I bought it. Came in a size small. Now it says youth small. Luckily it fit my son just right but we will have to get a larger one sooner rather than later since it is a small. all in all it's a nice life vest.

Leaves black sticky marks on skin
These life jackets left black sticky marks/material on both my kids chin and shoulders? I had to scrub for 30 minutes straight just to get it off them. I don’t think this is supposed to happen. Specially since it’s O’Brien!

Nice vest.
Does it’s job as a flotation device for my 40-45lb child. Hasn’t complained about comfort but I think it runs smal.

Way too small
I bought this for my 55 pound little guy thinking it would last a couple years since he is at the low end of the weight specs... Definitely not. He's a slim kid and he couldn't even zip it up. Buyer beware!Otherwise it looks and feels like a great life jacket. I wish there was a larger size available, but even in the one that says "large" in the description, the weight range is the same. I'm not risking getting the same one again.
