Good choice
I used to have a coffee machine that has a built-in grinder for years, which is supposed to provide better and fresh tasting brew than using already ground coffee. I tried different coffee beans, but it seemed that they all give a more or less similar flavor and, by the time you finish the usually large bag of beans, it might not feel as fresh as intended defying the whole purpose of having real-time grinding process. So, I made the investment in a Nespresso machine after hearing all the hype about it.First the machine:I was able to find a good deal on the Nespresso website (30% off!) for a CitiZ with a milk frother, which arrived faster than the estimated time. I tried some of the sample capsules and the machine operation was simple and quick (also not much cleaning overhead other than recycling the capsules!). The temperature of the coffee is perfect for me, not too hot or lukewarm. So the machine is definitely a good investment so far. However, I am not sure about the milk frother. Most of the milk in the resulting froth is stuck to the frother and is hard to get to the cup. Does not add value in my view.Second the coffee:Well, it turned out the hype is true! The Nespresso machine provides a much better tasting coffee, not to mention the huge array of available flavors made by Nespresso as well as other coffee brands. I decided to make a head-to-head comparison so, in addition to the Nespresso’s own coffee, I got L’OR and Jacobs coffee based on their reviews (the variety packs for both are about 30% less expensive than Nespresso’s coffee). Both came very quickly (within 1-2 days!), all capsules were in a good shape, and both fit perfectly in the Nespresso machine. Other than that Nespresso have a wider array of flavors, I found the less expressive capsules pretty much comparable in taste to the Nespresso’s.

tried Jacobs in Germany, really good!
this brand is good coffee! I'm usually a "dark French roast made in a French press thick coffee lover" but recently switched to a Nespresso machine and (YUMM-O!) It has all different levels, I actually enjoyed the level 7 the most. It is not at all bitter and its smooth. Again, YUMM-O!

Great variety and quality
It’s not as tasty as nespresso barista capsules but it’s good quality coffee and fits well in the original machines

Good for the price... I guess
I immediately bought these after seeing the price and because they're aluminum capsules. The flavor is fine but very mild (for all in the variety pack) No where near the flavors of Nespresso or Peet's. These are ok for the price but even at $0.40 per capsule I'd expect a stronger flavor because if I have to use 2 capsules then it's $0.80 cup so it's not really a deal at that point.I'm not saying don't buy then. Definitely give it a chance if you're interested because they do taste good. I just prefer much stronger coffee/espresso.

Bad tasting coffee with that sort of price range.Jacob capsule are under Douwe egberts coffee.Which it's together with L'or, Senseo.I adore Lo'r and thought maybe Jacobs could be good too, it's also a bit more pricier. But nope, just nope, I've tried them all, one is more tasteless than the other and those are not even caffein free.It does keep you awake, but it doesn't have much flavors at all. Roasted or not roasted? it tasted flat.
