The Fabric Cageless Bottle really has reinvented the wheel. Using 2 studs that bolt onto your bottle cage mounts the bottle fixes easily using 2 tracks along its side. The colour matched studs are perfect for weight weenies weighing just 1.5 grams each and when the bottle is not being used maintain the clean lines of your frame. A second set of non colour matched studs are also included a for a second bike or for spares.

A bit fiddly
It is a bit fiddly putting the bottle on the mounting posts while cycling, but worth it for the look of the bike not being spoiled with a bottle cage

Good product
Worked great, still have the bottle though couldn't test how durable it was on the bike due to bikes rear suspention design

undicht

Finger weg vom Produkt und we cycle.

Sturdy little water bottle!
I purchased this item after I saw it reviewed by Seth's Bike Hacks on YouTube. while he seemed to doubt its durability, but it did survive some bike drops and other practical MTB applications he put it through. I thought the price was low enough to take a chance on it and I am glad I did! Love Love Love the cageless system. I will sometimes use a hydration pack, and may not always want to have a water bottle with me, so even when removed this system has a low profile. I do have a wider downtube since it is a mountain bike, and I dont feel like the water bottle is bulky on my bike at all. I can grab it and put it back while riding, but it can be a bit tricky. The only "con" would be that it can be difficult to dry out. I leave it upside down in the sink for days and there are still droplets in it, and I have found that either hand drying it, or stuffing a paper towel in the bottom for a few days works best. I have only used water in it, so I cant say if this would work well for other types of liquids. I have only hand washed the item. I ride my bike around town, and on XC flowy single track type stuff all year round and this bottle seems to be a perfect accessory for hydrating on the trail.

Fine for Greenways but not serious mountain biking
I had high hopes for this and lost it on the second ride. I researched it and believed the hype.I was riding a hardtail 29er on flow trails. There are roots but not big rocks or drops. It's a fast flowing trail system (Lake Norman State Park). It fell off on a downhill section and I was aware of it. I hiked back up the hill and thought that I had possibly not mounted it securely. It isn't easy to secure while pedaling so I would stop to mount it which is less than ideal. I double checked it before continuing. About 50 minutes into the ride, I realized that it was gone again but have no clue where it fell off.I cannot recommend it for serious mountain biking. My first ride was with my son at a more sedate pace but much bumpier, root laden trail. It survived that so if you go slow, it should be ok. If you ride on paths or greenway trails, it should be fine as well but that's where most traditional frame mounted systems work as well.

It is an interesting design, but not that practical while biking
The bottle is designed for Fabric's specific system which came installed with my Riese & Muller E-bike. I bought the bottle for its larger size.It cannot handle hot liquids well. It is clearly designed for cold liquids. Don't pour hot tea in it.My main problem with the system is placing the bottle back on the bike as it clicks into two place holders while I am biking. I find it difficult to place the bottle, as you need to look at it more carefully than when one uses a standard bottle holder. I have to take my eyes of the road to place it back. While biking in the dark, I also find it difficult to place the bottle back on the bike.Once in place, it is firmly attached to the bike.

Two Stars
Great idea, but this just will not stick to the mount while going down anything reasonably techy downhill******Came back to re-write this, as I gave it another shot. Just make sure it "clicks" into place and you should be good. I've ridden with this with the techiest trails on the front range, without it popping off. I'd give it 5 stars if there was a cover over the mouth piece.

Loose cannon design
I really wanted to love this solution, but during my first three rides I had two escaped bottles. Much of my ride time was spent ensuring the bottles were fully seated on the posts as the bottle’s purchase would loosen over time. One ejected bottle even lodged between the rear tire and the frame stay during a high speed corner which is a terrifying prospect. Getting a bottle onto the posts at high speed is not as easy as inserting into a bottle cage and takes practice. I was willing to overlook that difficulty for the overall elegant design of deleting my bottle cages but the lack of bottle security sealed the low rating. Love the idea, but not the execution.

Stays on bike better than a cage
Used it 5 times, seems to stay on good, even in the chunk and gnar. Squeezes easy, only complaint is I wish you could buy additional mounts, and the valve in the top is coming apart, still works, but it is falling apart. But I do like having a bottle mount on mtb that stays put even over bumps and jumps.

This Water Bottle Fits a standard Bottle Cage Bracket snugly and holds plenty of water.
I purchased this bottle because the smaller one that came with my Reise & Muller Electric Bike fell off its mounting several times and I eventually lost it. This replacement bottle is larger than the one that came with my bike, and it seems to fit the mounting brackets more snugly. After about a month of use, it works just fine, and has remained a snug fit. If I lose this bottle for any reason, I would be happy to buy another one.

Buy a Fidlock instead.
Bought this as a gift for a friend. This might work fine for a road bike, but we ride mountain bikes. It kept falling off when we hit bumps. Spend the extra money and get the Fidlock bottle.
