Contadina, Sweet & Sour Sauce with Pineapple, 16oz Can (Pack of 6)

I have used this product for a long time. For some reason our local WINCO has decided not to carry it on their shelves, so we had to order it thru Amazon. Whatever way it takes to get it, we will get it. It has wonderful flavor. I generally enhance it with some hot salsa to make it a spicy sweet and sour. There are so many ways to use it. Chicken, pork and shrimp almost always have this on it in our house at times. It is a very good product! JESS

Love this sauce and couldn't find it near where I live. Great for making sweet & sour chicken or using as a dipping sauce for egg rolls. Only complaint was that several of the cans came severely dented. The box was well packed by Amazon and no damage to the box itself, so they must have been like that prior to boxing. The can seals weren't broken so I'm sure it's fine... just not a great first impression.

Used this sweet and sour for my young boys every week. They loved it over rice and pork ribs. Glad to find it again. Couldn't find it for years. Now we found where to go. We buy 6-8 cans at a time.

I grew up in California and my mom always used this for her ribs. I’ve always wanted to recreate my moms dish ( 45 yrs later ) but sadly could never find in the stores in the south nor in CA when travel. Thanks to Amazon I now have it.A bit bummed upon arrival, few cans dented, no biggie but a few subtle changes from what I ordered and what received.The image threw me off, I always recalled a red tint to the imaged food and not a yellow.The wording placement of sweet & sour sauce with pineapple is different.Nutritional info differs and ingredients listed in different order.I’m about to try tonight and really hope the flavor is just like how I remember.

This is my favorite sauce to use on meat. I REALLY wish it wasn’t discontinued. Also, paying $30-40 for 6 cans is WWAAAYYYYYY overpriced, especially when it was $1.XX in the stores.

did not taste like sweet and sour sauce like chinesse restaurants use. was not on the sweet side, was on tangy side. very disappointed. was looking for what chinesse restaurants serve. had to buy 6 cans in the bundle to not like any of it. anyone want some ?

I had used this sauce for years, then it disappeared from stores. I found it again on Amazon, then sadly it disappeared again. I went to the Contadina website but it doesn`t show this item any longer.

The flavor is good although I don’t remember the taste because it has been so long since I had it last. I live in Texas now and they don’t sell it in the stores here at all. So I was glad that I could get it from Amazon.
