If you are at all interested in investing passively in syndicated real estate deals YOU MUST BUY THIS BOOK! The Hands-Off Investor by Brian Burke is a great resource for walking you through how to analyze and evaluate every aspect of a syndication deal. While not an "easy read" the book provides definitions, examples, and literally walks you through how to compare & understand passive investing. The Hands-Off Investor definitely made the top 3 in my favorite real estate books. Hope you find it as helpful as I did!

As somebody who recently got into real estate syndication, I found this book an invaluable source of information on how to make maximum use of the syndicate structure. Details are provided on how to assess the various financing and investment terms and give you a solid ground on which to evaluate the merit of a potential investment.

I’ve spent the last 20 years in and around structured finance. Brian Burke gets it, and explains it well. If you are a real estate investor, potential syndicator or just curious, the book is well written, highly detailed, and covers a lot of ground. A must have in a finance library.

The information in this book is extremely tactical and helpful. I was, however, extremely disappointed by the poor quality of the publishing of the book. 50% of the pages look like they were printed with an ink cartridge that was running low.

Im new to syndications and in the process of investing in a real estate syndicate for the first time. I have been interested and learned reading blog posts here and there. This is an excellent intro book for the novice with all the info you need in once place. I have read some of Brians blog posts on biggerpockets, but this book nicely puts everything together in one place. Thanks for putting this out

As a passive investor, I stumbled across this book on a real estate investment website. I wish I had read this before doing previous investments. No questions are left unanswered. Great book, easy read fantastic info. I highly recommend this book if you want to do passive investing in syndications.

Are you considering investing in multifamily properties? Do you already invest in them? No matter where you fall in this spectrum, this book is for you! I couldn't put it down. Brian explains things in such a way, that you feel like he is talking directly to you. So many other authors, or "experts" go out of their way to write as if they are Einstein incarnate. Making you lose interest, because it just doesn't make sense. Not this book! It will have you engaged right from page 1. You cannot put a price tag on the invaluable information that Brian provides in this book!

Investing in private equity real estate has many benefits and tax advantages, and this book outlines how to successfully take action and build wealth in syndications of multi-family real estate. This book goes over the specifics for both beginner and intermediate investors. Brian does a great job explaining complex concepts in a simple effective writing style.
