Pricey but the earthy taste us smooth enough to sip. Great with olive oil and avocado alike. Use this daily to stay away from highly ultra processed dressings. I make enough for 2 meal's and so far overnight out of the refrigerator no problems.

As the picture shows, this comes very nicely packaged, ready for gift-giving. A foodie would be delighted to have it. The balsamic vinegar itself is very rich and intense. I've had some that were a little too sweet, but this is still very acidic.

This Italian aged balsamic vinegar is a perfect example of what balsamic vinegar should be with a "sweet-and-sour balance and full-bodied flavor." Made from 70% Grape Must and wine vinegar, using an over three generation old family recipe, it is carefully produced and aged. It is IGP certified. It will add an incredible flavor to your recipes.We have used various balsamic vinegars over a long period of time and a goodly number of excellent quality, aged vinegars. This De Nigris balsamic is one of the most delicious we have found. There is a wonderful sweet-sour balance that adds so much to our food. We have used it while preparing dishes, but we prefer to drizzle it on the food just before we eat it. We get the maximum flavor that way. I think our favorite way is over a beautiful piece of aged parmesan cheese and fruit but certainly over fish, chicken and meat, pasta, salads and even desserts. Heaven! Thick, Delicious, and I.G.P. Labeled
I consume a lot of balsamic vinegar over the year, and I've come to appreciate the ones that are thick and almost syrupy. This balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy is indeed thick, though perhaps not as sweet as some, and it contains no thickening agents, just cooked down grape must. Because it has the I.G.P. designation, it has been certified produced in Modena, the balsamic capital. This vinegar is not in the priciest category (D.O.P.), but it certainly rates up there in quality and flavor. It's so good that I can taste it by the spoonful.The bottle comes packaged like an expensive bottle of perfume, only bigger. It is especially good when combined with high-quality olive oil and herbs for dipping. Or on tomatoes, even without oil. Add a loaf of homemade bread, and I'm in heaven.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
