DecoArt DASK268 Dazzling Metallics Sample Pack

I love these, the colors are great, they're shiny and hold well. my only disappointment is that overall the paint is very thin and my least favorite is the red. the red does not hold it's color very well and it's so thin it makes me think of glitter nail polish. all the other colors though are fantastic, particularly the silver, green, and gold. they're gorgeous and so are many of the individually sold colors. if you're looking to get a beautiful coppery shine, I recommend their Copper color of this same brand. same problem with the thinness, but the color is uniform and great to get that bright, eye catching shine!

O how I absolutely love deco Art no matter which line these metallics are so amazing and beautiful and a little goes a long way and the sparkle last I never do my reviews on anything I get from Amazon until at least 3 months has passed and these paints I can now review right away because I been using them for so long all though it's only 2 oz I get alot of paint from that after you add your medium and a tad bit of water I actually get about 8 to 12 oz of paint from each 2 oz bottle which is amazing I'm glad they put this in a student grade category so we can get it at a amazing price but in my opinion it's a artist grade I have a bunch of artist grade paints and these are just as good some even better than

This paint has a medium gloss and makes nice ornaments and covers polymer clay and most any surface well without need for primer or a second coat. I’ve used it for years.

Good. However note that it's not really "metal paint" because it doesn't have that nice clean reflections that normal metal has. It is more like shiny sprinkles mixed with metal colors. The silver color looked grey, not really like what you would expect for a "silver" color. However the "Splendid Gold" color is decent, which is the only color I use to decorate shells.Some people say that adding coating on top of this metal paint makes the color more shiny. I have not found such a coating yet. I used "DecoArt DCP24-9 Patio Paint, 8-Ounce, Clear Coat" it's a waterproof coating but it made the colors more opaque.

I bought this set to test metallic paints. Too my surprise 4 of the bottles were less than 1/2 full. I simply contacted amazon and a new set was immediately sent out of me. Second set are more full. (Doesn't make sense cause they must be filled by machine.) Anyway, these paints I love. Nice and thick to work with water based. Dry fasting with one coat coverage. Works great using brush, sponge, and other applicators. Work great with my woodwork crafts. The cost is fair I would say~equal to other craft stores.

The media could not be loaded.  Incredibly vibrant colours that are thick enough to not require second coats on most of my projects. The paint covers dried "hot glue" (-to appear as candle wax-) permanently, drying really quickly, and it highlights thickly over black, no problem. The Expresso looks like a bronze/gold, it's fantastic!!!

I was so happy to find these metallic paints. I was really happy that someone put a collection like this together. Perfection. The colors are exactly what someone would want and I didn’t have to buy a collection of ordinary paints just to get these. Thank you

This is a great product. The colors are great and perfect for my holiday projects. I only gave it 3 stars because it was packaged poorly. When I got it, the green bottle leaked out about 1/3 of paint. It was already dried and didn't get on any of the other things I ordered in the same box. So I'm assuming that it was shipped to me this way. It was unfortunate but I needed it for a project so I just kept it.

I originally bought these to airbrush but they are far too thick for that however the colours are amazing, very Christmassy, and cover very nicely. The metal flakes in the pigments are extremely fine. These will make a nice addition to my craft paints.

I used deco art for paint pouring, I normally use pebeo products .These deco art paint are a great way to try many colours ,they are truly metallic although much thinner in consistency.Lovely product and I will defiantly buy again.

Excellent produit

I love this paint. It's a shame there isn't a UK version as good.
