Worther 115 10 Shorty Pencil with Clip - Yellow

I bought this great little clutch pencil after I saw it on a webpage and got intrigued: a mechanical pencil of sorts with a thick robust lead that won't continuously snap off like thin lead. I immediately loved its compact size, design, and quality of lead. So fun to use, it makes me want to draw! Easily make thick, dark black marks up to fine delicate lines with ease. When not in use, you can retract the lead into the body for safe carry. Sadly I soon lost the pencil, so here I am buying another. If you want to keep a needle sharp tip on it, also order a lead pointer sharpener of the correct size for this lead (not like a conventional sharpener for wood pencils)

My first clutch pencil. I picked up one to help me sketch linocuts - I tend to try for too much fine detail - and it was a game-changer. The Shorty is comfy to hold and gives bold lines, and, to me, is more versatile than either a 2mm or a 5.6 mm lead holder. It also comes a lot cheaper than most while still comparing favorably even with pricier options. The acid test - I now own 4 colors of Shorty, and have given some as gifts, and even donated one as a prize for a Dr. Sketchy's.

Beautifully crafted in light-weight aluminum and all metal construction, this mechanical pencil (lead holder) has a great size to produce very fluid work. Ideal for life studies. The Faber Castell-I tk9071 3.15mm 5B Leads Worther supplies with the pencil are as fluid and creamy as cold butter on hot potatoes, however they only ship a single length in the holder. So, order the leads with the pencil. I recommend using these leads, but that is a personal choice.

Nice pencil, well made and a length workable for sketching. I'd like a metal version if only to give it some weight - it's a bit too light weight for my liking. A pointer in the cap would be welcome too.

This is a light weight sketching pencil that fits pocket or purse comfortably. It travels well. Comfortable to hold and use for long periods without fatigue.The body is textured for non-slip grip. It produces a soft dark line and is ideal for general doodling, cartooning and sketching.

Love these pencils! My use case is a bit unusual - I like to have a stubby pencil when I do my grocery shopping, to check things off my list as they are put in the cart. Well, finding a good stubby pencil is easier said than done - but these are perfect! Too bad the pencil lead is so unusual (and expensive).

El material es bueno y es bonito, pero el botón no me gusta nada. Tengo dudas de si aguantará, así que lo he devuelto. Es caro como para que no dure.
