Origin8 Multi-Sport Bar End Levers

Ok so first i was getting frustrated because they wouldn't "just slide in" my origin8 bullhorns.. But then i figured out if you unloosen (not all the way take out) set screw you can slide the shim off and slide right on... The cable routing is definitely on the outside of bars not internal like another reviewer said. Another reviewer mentioned "not enough stopping power" he probably didn't get new lines or adjust them... I put together before buying new lines and adjusted old line and it has tremendous stopping power... Very pleased with my purchase.. If you get these also get the origin8 bullhorns. Yes that's the back of a bowling alley. I'm the mechanic... But you don't have to be one to put these on your machine.

These brakes are compatible with MTB (mountain bike) brake cables. Installation was not too bad (youtube videos) and the brake handles work great. These levers route the cables externally so you can just run the cable tubes under your grip tape.I have used them for three weeks and the seem very sturdy. Good value for the price!

They din't generate enough stopping power

Picked these up for my single speed and on arrival found out that the brake cables are internally routed and you will need handlebars designed for this type of lever. It's not recommended to drill holes in you handlebars to thread the housing back out. Had to pick up Tektro TL720 levers. The Tektro work great.

Bought a silver set from the LBS.Much higher end than expected.Well machined, exceptional fit and finish.The levers even have a hidden return spring.They should work perfectly for my project.
