not too sweet but a good taste
bought Pixley before and the blackcurrant is a good taste not too sweet or bitter good value and a good percentage of blackcurrant very pleased

The best blackcurrant money can buy!
I speak as a self confessed blackcurrant-a-holic! I have been drinking it since I was born. I started on c-vit, progressed on to ribena and then as I got older I wanted something more fruity…and there are a lot of berries packed in to this drink and you can tell. It is slightly tart, which is exactly how it should taste. I have been drinking pixley religiously for several years now and having tried other blackcurrant drinks, nothing comes close.

What happened !
The packaging was appalling and only five bottles in the box instead of six. Will order direct from Pixley website next time. The product is delicious, but I don’t know who packed this. I paid Amazon £12.99 for this packing & delivery !

Made of real berries
This cordial isn't cheap. But it is real. If you picked a load of black currants and cooked them up with some sugar and strained them, this is what you'd get - a thick, flavourful syrup that can be diluted to make a tasty drink. Unlike most squash it has a lot of real fruit and no additives, which is why the price is relatively high. But I think you get what you pay for.

Tooty fruity beauty
I almost don't want to review this because it is so good which might mean less for me (or they might put up the price):)The rich depth of colour is matched by the depth of flavour. Not too sweet but very fruity. Full on blackcurrant, slightly dry, with a hint of the hedgerow :)I diluted 1:5 and that meant a 500 ml bottle produced 2.5 litres of lovely deep purple liquid.I shall buy it on subscribe and save every month. Forget those apple juices made from concentrates. These cordials are REAL value for money.

Just fruit no artificial sweeteners.From all the brands ( and I've tried them all) this one is the best quality and value.Others have water as the first ingredient.
