I received my Costway toaster oven in July. Recently, it malfunctioned and I notified the seller (Costway). I immediately heard back from them. They told me they would send me a new oven and not to worry about sending back the broken one. I just got the replacement yesterday. I have to say that their customer service is exceptional. I would give 10 stars if I could...

UPDATE 11/8/20: After reaching out directly to the seller, leaving a message in the questions feature, and leaving this review (on 10/26) NOBODY has contacted me about warranty information. Next is trying to contact general Amazon customer service. I am incredibly disappointed & upset I'm out $150. Be be cautious of buying this.ORIG REVIEW: This was delivered 8/8, first used on 8/13 and today is 10/26. We used this toaster oven 20ish times over that 2 month period & it worked fine. We loved this appliance-- mainly used the air fryer but sometimes also the convection oven. My husband was air frying some sweet potato fries last night and thankfully he was near the machine when this happened. There was a loud popping/explosion noise, burning smell, and fire coming out of the back top of the machine where the mechanics are. It tripped the breakers in the house so all the electricity shut off.I'm terrified to think what would have happened if someone wasn't there (I had used it the night before and left the room the entire time). We always make sure the machine is well ventilated & pulled out from walls/cabinets when we use it. Its also always clean & nothing out of the ordinary has happened to it or with it before. It wasn't near water, etc-- there is no logical reason this should have happened. This appears to be some sort of mechanical defect.I didn't notice the "contact seller for warranty" note when I bought it. That coupled with the fact that this is not a well known brand, in retrospect, should have been a red flag. With tax and shipping I paid $150 for this 2 mos ago (it was also a bday gift for a family member) and now its useless.I sent a note as soon as it happened via the question feature & haven't heard anything back. I figured out how to msg the seller directly tonight (they don't make it easy to find!) and will update this review with the resolution.I just thankful no one was hurt & the house didn't catch fire. With hope they will return my $ so I can buy a more well known brand. I'm too nervous to ever have another one of these if they try to offer me a replacement. I will update this when I know more.But in the meantime beware. And if you already own this, don't leave it unattended while in use (maybe even unplug it when you're not using it too). I rarely leave reviews and especially not bad ones but I felt this was important for people to know.

I researched for days for a new toaster oven. Our old was was exceptional (or so I thought). It lasted a good six years before the heating element died.I found this beauty and almost passed it up. Didn't recognize the brand at all and that's normally a no-go for me. However, I read through every review (took a good while) and decided to give it a try.I've had it for over a month now and use it just about everyday. I like every feature I've used so far. The convection bake is awesome. The air fry option is so, so lovely.One of my favorite things is the light inside! Being able to see everything clearly is very helpful.

We use this product for toast and reheating (our microwave now has cobwebs) because the leftovers taste very much better if rewarmed in this combo oven. Airfrying has not worked as well with products coming out dry - but that might be my learning curve.My unit came with the shelf missing but the company sent one - after a delay, but they did send it.Cleaning - as mentioned by another reviewer is a bear and I am disappointed that the door catches everything that drips or spills as food exits the oven.All in all I would and have recommended this unit. It is versatile and the perfect size to fit on a countertop.

I have only had this a couple of days, and have tried toasting, heating on bake and air frying frozen food. I was quite impressed on how perfectly a toasted bagel and frozen croissant came out. It heated a potato knish to perfection. My last toaster oven burnt toast and had to be watched constantly because things would frequently burn. It also has a small footprint. Smaller than my toaster oven! I would highly recommend this unit.

I wanted to buy something not too pricey and try the air fryer for the first time. All the features work well. The toast feature toasts unevenly depending on where the bread is placed since there are only 2 heat bars at the bottom of the oven. If the bread is directly above the heat bar, then it will be crisp and dark. The rest will look white. But overall the toasting feature is the least effective part of the oven. Cooking in it is great. The tray is very small and can't go in the oven by itself. My biggest concern is that the inside of the oven is made of some material that is coming off. There seems to be a thin film over the metal that looks like aluminum. I bought this oven because I didn't want a nonstick inside. It is impossible to clean.

First time using this type of oven. Tried toasting it and it turned out pretty good. multiple functions. After using it for the first time it became easier to use. To turn off just turn the function knob to toast and all is off. The timer will turn off by itself, cannot force it to zero. Overall, a pretty good mini oven for baking and toasting, will try air fry later.

I purchased this style of machine because I thought the dials would last longer than a touch screen model. Boy was I wrong. The first two years were great. It is a nice machine while it still works. However, the dials began to get stuck on certain modes, they wouldn’t move and then it would start shorting out on certain modes. I’ve been using it only on the bake function for the past year TJ try and get a bit more time out of it but now the cable heats up whenever it is turned on and it doesn’t feel safe to use anymore. I wouldn’t buy this if you want a long term product.
