We live in a rural location surrounded by farms. My partner has been goaded to distraction by the endless flies entering our conservatory and dying on the windowsills, entering the home and biting or generally annoying her! We must have spent endless amounts on plastic strip flyscreens. This has resolved all our problems. From cleaning the internal windowsills daily, a week has passed and only one demised fly has been found.I know it is not cheap, and I was concerned our conservatory would look like an old fashioned butchers shop, but its ability to prevent flies entering our home is great, and in place above the door it looks light and attractive.It was easy to remove links and i didn't even need pliers to do so.The links are folded downward so can't snag clothing etc. I wish i had bought this and resolved my partners never ending vendetta with the flies years ago!

My only regret with this curtain is not buying one sooner. We live out in the sticks and flies getting into the house are a menace and a pain.However this has worked a treat and the house has been a fly free zone for the past 2 days when I put it up!Simple to install, 2 10mm holes in wall, decent plugs and hooks. The hooks hold onto the bar at the top. You don’t even have to have precise measurements. We haven’t even trimmed ours, and have fitted it on the outside as our door folds inwards.

Quick delivery. The product is very robust and should last for years. It looks smart and tidy and is very effective at keeping out flies, wasps and bees. The only downside was that the fittings with the chain curtain ( 2 rawl plugs and 2 screw-in hooks) are not really suitable for fixing to a plastic conservatory. However with a little bit of ingenuity I was able to hang the curtain without much problem. The curtain was too long for my door but was very easily shortened using a pair of long nosed pliers to remove the surplus links. Overall, very pleased with it.

Really pleased looks good .I have the green striped one , (don’t think I would have liked the plain one , not as pretty) easy to install , and easy to adjust the length , I have shortened in the middle for my cat to go through the cat flap , my dog and cat go through chains without a problem, although they were a bit cautious for a day or too and it has definitely helped with those pesky flys would highly recommend . Good value

I bought 2 of these to go across the double exit door from my conservatory to the garden. I don't know how easy it was to install as I got someone to do this for me. It was certainly very easy to adjust the length by unclipping the excess links from the bottom. It does its job perfectly. My conservatory used to be a veritable death trap for insects which I would find later on the window ledges and was forever having to sweep up. No longer a problem. I also like the fact that the screen doesn't shut out the light or view of the garden, is easy to move past as it is lightweight, but is not moved by a breeze. Very pleased with this purchase and the screen has been in use now for a long time.

This is a good quality fly screen, easy to fit and easy to modify in length if required. Works as well as can be expacted and cuts down flies entering the house to a good degree. The design of the chain is good and there is no tendency to tangle as long as the length is adjusted correctly. Overall very good and has met my expectations.

I am very pleased with this item, it was very easy to install, one of the cheaper prices but don't let that put you off, it is sturdy and very good value for money and best of all it actually works!No flies at all since it was installed

So I bought this because i end up buying cheaper ones and then they don't last at all. I probably buy fly screens every year. Although i wouldn't normally spend this much money on a fly screen, i thought i would give it a go. I bought it when we had the hot weather and the flies were at their worst! It was delivered on time and i put it straight up. The dogs and cat were a little scared of it at first but soon became used to it. It was very long but the links were easy to take off so i took a few links off the bottom so that they hung just below the step. Everything was working fine until the weather changed and the wind picked up. The chains wre just too light and would sort of wrap around each other and on occasion "knotted" together. My granddaughter was nearly strangled when she ran through it and didn't see the tangle! When the wind blew, the chains would blow inwards which got caught in the door hinge or the threshold and so we couldn't shut the door without taking it down all the time. The links are not that secure and distort quite easily. It has no weight too it and is quite flimsy. Our door is used quite a lot by us, the dogs, the cat and Grandkids. It has not stood up to that very well at all. It works well on a calm day but any slight wind, changes how the chains react. They seem to huddle together and there are huge gaps between the chains and flies get in. I even put small fishing weights on the bottom but it just made it worse. I so wanted it to work and it does on a calm day. I'm very disappointed as it was not cheap.
