Good mouse for the money, multi-tasker good for work or play - UPDATED
EDIT 14 APR 2020 - Well a little over 4 years is a decent run I suppose, for modern electronics. The mouse is still usable, and has worked well throughout this time, but the claimed "800 million clicks" is a pipe dream for the buttons, especially the RMB. The RMB has now started to randomly become a "web back" button about every 10 to 100 clicks. I am sure this is probably due to some switch problem in the unit, although there is no noticeable change in the force or slack in the RMB (comparing to the presumed identical LMB switch). There is no way on Earth I clicked that button 800 million times in 4 years, that would be over 547,000 clicks per day or 6 clicks per second for 24/7/365 x 4 years! I have generic mice at work that came with a machine 10 years ago that have tons more use than this, and no complaints there. Let's hope they fixed this in the next version.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The main buttons are easy to reach, although the extended function buttons need a little finger stretching to get to. The wheel is very smooth moving, it is almost hard to feel the 'stops', no extra 'clicky-ness'. The top-most side button ('web back') is easy for the thumb to reach without hitting it unnecessarily, while the forward side button ('web forward') takes a little extra effort to reach. A ledge on the bottom of the thumb rest keeps your thumb off the mouse pad for easy movement of the mouse, and keeps the thumb low enough that you will miss accidentally hitting the buttons above.I am not a huge fan of flashy lighting, so mine stays dark most of the time. The available lighting options seem adequate to impress a 'leet gamer's' friends, though. They are accessed, and mercifully disabled, with the rear-most thumb button silk-screened with a 'flashlight' icon, which is also a little out of the way so it doesn't get hit accidentally. Wouldn't want to break your groove in CS:GO or BF4 when your mouse suddenly changes from blue to purple, now would we?The scroll wheel acts as it should, but it is very light on the feedback. I have had mice where the wheel clicks loudly every detent, and some where the wheel rolls freely on ball bearings and will continue to spin on it's own. This one has steps you can feel, but only barely, and they are not audible. The wheel also has enough friction to not roll on its own, but is light enough on the tension that only light finger movement will roll it. The button on the wheel is also stiff enough that you will not click it accidentally while rolling the wheel, unless you are doing some mad movements in a game and forget the correct pressure to use it.The other two buttons, changing the DPI and double/triple click, are also out of the way, although from the picture you would swear the DPI button would be pressed every 5 seconds. The multi-click button is so far out of the way it almost hurts my finger to move to use it without shifting my entire hand on the mouse. This functionality is not really used in anything I do day-to-day, and in the games I have tried it in (which consist of a couple FPS and the military realism-sim ArmA 2) it does nothing extra due to the fact that FPS game designers put a lag in between shots to simulate real weapon cycle times. The DPI change button sits comfortably between the first and second fingers, near the web of the fingers. It will not be hit unless you want to click it. Cycling through the DPI options, I like the second setting (1600 DPI) for day-to-day use, it matches the speed and feel of my last mouse and has enough pointing accuracy to get a hit on a target in an FPS without having to lift the mouse and move it over with lower resolution settings. On the highest setting (9600 DPI), my pointer will go from one side of a 1920x1080 viewport to the other in less than a half inch of movement (that's 12.5mm for you metrically-inclined types). I'm not sure who would need such fast cursor speed, but it's there if you want it.The weight system leaves enough options for anyone to get the right feel by tweaking the weights. I have included two shots of the weight system as the vendor did not. Each weight sits in a cutout in a foam pad glued to the cap of the weight holder. They are secure and don't move around, and the foam in the top of the compartment insures they won't rattle around in there either. Each weight came between 2.73 and 2.75 grams, and the cap is 2.04 grams on my scale. A total of a little over 24 grams that can be removed from the mouse, which is 107.40 grams without the weights or cap installed (best effort was made to do this check without the cord attributing to the weight). That makes for a total possible weight of 131.4 grams, without the weight of the cord adding to that if you don't suspend it somehow. The bottom sticker says "Please remove the protective film before use." Even though the mouse looks ready-to-go, there is a layer of film on each of the bottom pads, the mouse will work better if you remove this film. Trust me when I say you aren't extending the life of the pads by leaving it on there, and you aren't doing yourself any favors in the movement of the mouse either as the film is not as 'slick' as the pads are.Overall it is a pretty good mouse for the price, considering there are much more expensive options touting the same or just a little more functionality. And if it happens to break, hey, less than $20 will get you another one. But I don't see this one being fragile, like I said it feels solid and well-built.

No Longer Skeptical
I purchased this mouse for personal use, work use, as well as gaming. I have to say I was extremely skeptical at first because the price was actually manageable for a mouse that appeared so awesome. Here is my experience with it:DPI : The DPI is advertised (up to) 9200 precision, I currently have it comfortably set to 7500 for games such as League of Legends, Maple Story, and Diablo 3. The cursor moved smoothly and very quick which made these games much more enjoyable to play (in comparison to using my old wireless Logitech mouse)SCROLL: The scroll wheel is remarkably smooth with no clicking. It leaves just enough interference to alert to the stops.CLICKS: The double click feature has been used both in and out of gaming as well as at work (CAD desk job) and has been a life saver, making browsing, gaming, and work seamless. The left and right clicks work as they should.EXTRAS: The extra buttons on the sides for back and forward have not been used much as I have not seen a real use for them, but they did work fine with pressing when tested after first un-packaged and are still working fine today. I was worried at first that my fingers would have issues pressing them while gaming, but I have yet to have any slips nor have I had to go out of my way to avoid them.LIGHTS: The lighting feature has not disappointed. It is easy to change with the click of one button and I really like being able to customize it whenever I wish according to my moods.CORD: The braided wire cord has frayed slightly by this point, but it was to be expected. I am very pleased with the length of the cord, giving plenty of room to move around during gaming and for extended screen play.SIZE: This mouse is a bit larger than a usual mouse (especially a big difference compared to my old tiny Logitech) but I have been able to adjust accordingly with no issues and I have small hands.Overall, its been about 2 months since I received this mouse I would highly recommend it for gamers, desk jobs, or just personal enjoyment. I am in love with the customization and I couldn't really think of anything I don't love about the convenience and design!

Not as Polished as the Razor Naga
I like this mouse.I had a Razor Naga for 4 years, but it finally died after the Cataclysm expansion on World of Warcraft. For a while i used the mouse that came with the computer, but the HP mouse hurt my fingers. I have smaller hands, but would normally have a gaming mouse fitted to my hands in a store. On opening the box,I thought the mouse was a bit small, but it's perfect for my fingers.I can't believe how perfect it fits.It changes colors, which is a nice effect. For 2 days I couldn't get it to go back to color changing. I was frustrated cause the instructions are vague, and written small.I finally must've hit the light button correctly 7 short times, and the colors began to change again. It has a fire button which is nice, and a run button which I like.First glance and I thought it looked cheap. It's not a polished as the Razor, but it's affordable. I might buy a second for my laptop which also houses World of Warcraft. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, due to it's not as polished and it looked like there were a couple of scratches. But that might be the light pattern. It has a red cotton covered (I think it's thread covered, not sure what that's called) cord. I suspect this will cause the cord to not last as long as a plastic coated cord. But all in all,I'm pleased with this mouse for a gaming mouse.

Good over all mouse
Overall I would give this mouse five stars. I am a tall man with average to big size hands and this mouse is slightly too large I feel. However it seems that the quality is good, the weight and feel is good. The cord is a good length and quality.I like the multiple buttons in their respective locations as they seem to be easy to locate and prevent from accidentally pressing. The lights aren’t something that appeal to me as I don’t look at the mouse when I’m using it.For the price this is a great mouse.
