Bought to stand kettle and coffee making stuff on (coffee jar, sugar, teaspoon holder etc) works just fine and has nice finish. A little light so wouldn't want to use as to carry much of a load from one room to another.

Not fit for purpose
The product is not solid wood it has a plywood base, the tray's purpose is to be used serving and removing items of crockery from a dinner table, it is not sturdy and will not take any weight therefore not fit for purpose! If I was not overseas I would have returned the items.

Exactly what I wanted; a little on the expensive side though, hence the 4 stars. The wood is thin and light but nicely colored. Can't wait to use it.
