Warm, easy to work the controls.
Wanted to get some use out of these before I left a review, however yesterday's ride impressed me enough to leave a review. I got these and the Gerber vest and a dual controller. Rode through an ice storm with these. My bike, me and the gloves were caked with ice before I finished the ride. Hands stayed warm on just the 5 setting despite temps down around 17 with a wind chill that brought temps into low single digits or even below zero. The gloves are bulky but surprisingly easy to work the controls wearing them. Even when turned off they are decently warm. Been a time or two I forgot to turn them on during a ride and was surprised how warm they were without power, but you definitely notice an hour in and turn the heat on when it's below 40.So far I've put in at least 1,000 miles wearing these and am really impressed with them. The only complaint I have is the liner can sometimes pull out a little making it a pain to put your hand back in. That's fairly normal with gloves like these however. The other complaint is the wire lengths but that doesn't have anything to do with these gloves. My suggestion however if you buy these and a dual controller, get extensions so that you can put controller in pocket and have plenty of room to give hand signals and move your hands. After a couple seasons with these I'll come back and update this review to report on durability.UpdateWell into my 2nd Winter having these gloves I am just as happy with them. They've seen long rides in really cold weather, rain and ice and still work like a charm.

Gerbing Hybrid Gloves
The Gerbing Hybrid Gloves are a great winter touring glove. Even with the heat turned off they are great to very low temps. The fit was as expected and the straps seem secure for a touring glove. they are a little bulky and lacky safety features for winter track or spirited sport use. Their construction is much better than any normal winter glove and they fell safe for normal motorcycle use. The heat on high is fine for highway speeds at freezing temps.

Gerbing T5 Hybrid black leather gloves.
I purchased these only to check them out. I normally always wear XXL gloves but, that size was not available. I ordered XL as they were my only choice. I did not use size chart. 6'4" 270 lbs size 14 shoe big hands. XL fit superior. First impression was leaning bulky but overall not by much. That strap I had doughts about but it actually holds tight under your thumb. I put them on, put them back in the bag, did that about 4 times and I couldn't take them off. I was in love. These are by far, imho, world class quality that I decided to keep them. Wow, what a glove. Like the throttle grips overlay sewn into the palm. Nice gloves, my wife said Merry Xmas.Bad a$$ gloves

package comes with everything you need to get started however a controller is recommended, good price point Cons
Pros: Fast heat up time, package comes with everything you need to get started however a controller is recommended, good price pointCons: Liner is waterproof however untreated leather will quickly get soaked. Poor crash protection. Heat can be a little anemic even on the highest setting. Inside wiring of the gloves is fragile and will break if you mistreat the gloves at all.For the price point these are great gloves and pretty much the best option if you are looking for a heated glove easily sourced in the USA. I would suggest if you are looking for a top end glove to investigate Oxford gloves from the UK.

Bought a 2nd pair for a friend
I tested these gloves for the first time on my 1 hour ride to work this morning. The temperature was 33°F all the way.Bottom line - these offer a fantastic experience. I have been so cold on my bike in the past that I was hugging the engine block at every red light. This is a thing of the past. The gloves kept me nice and toasty without getting too hot, even though they feel hotter with pressure. I unplugged the gloves during the 2nd half of the ride and the gloves were borderline ok at these temps. So, you don't NEED to get the Bluetooth temperature regulator that the mfgr offers. Wearing liners will help with regulating the heat a little better as well. When it gets really cold, they must be awesome.Size XL fits me well.Minor nuisances: why no SAE or cigarette lighter included? I ended up wiring the harness permanently to the battery. You will need a FEMALE SAE to Coax adapter. I just clicked on one of the items that was listed as "what customers also bought" and ordered the MALE version which is useless.Cable management needs to be improvised. Eventually I had the harness hanging down on the left side and touching the exhaust pipe. There is a bit too much cable.I love the gloves and bought a 2nd pair for a friend.

no dexterity with these gloves and inconsistent heating. One glove really got hot the other never really go warm. Switched the power inputs around and no change.

Great gloves for cold days - not frozen thumbs
Took these gloves out last week when the morning temps were in the high 30s and had warm hands when I arrived at work after a 20 mile ride. I used to just wear insulated gloves but the bulk needed to keep the cold out is obstructive and I still ended up with cold hands that tingled for a couple of hours until they warmed up. These Gerbiing gloves seemed to have taken that issue away. They keep my hands as warm as if I was riding on a warm day, and I don't have a fairing. They fit is great and the diagonal adjustment strap crossed the hand a good angle to add a bracing effect for added stability.

to able to use what I buy
the gloves look good, but where are the batteries and the instructionsvery disappointingthe total cost stands in stark contrast of the poor design of gloves and battery : the sharp edges of the battery and the cable design make it very difficult to fit the battery into the glove, and to turn it on and off. The gloves are made for someone to put the battery into their jacket, but not into the glove.
