essential for camping and power outages - must have
I never knew I needed one of these til my battery powered airbed pump failed me during camping. My friend had a different brand portable power station twice the size of this and it worked perfectly for the air pump he let me borrow. After that I knew I had to get one. It's a great fail safe that'll give you a peace of mind during emergencies. For how small this is, it lasted a long time. First thing I did when I opened it was try to drain the battery before charging it fully to lengthen the battery life. For a week and a half I was using this to charge my phone every day multiple times a day and I probably got it down to a little less than half way via USB mode. The screen tells you the wattage it draws and how much juice it has left in minutes. It fluctuates a lot depending on how many devices are plugged in so i wouldn't say it's accurate, it just gives you more of a indicator on how much battery life is left. This took me a while to figure out coz I didn't bother reading the manual lol but when using a/c mode (outlet plug on the side) you first gotta turn on the power station then press and hold the a/c button til you see "a/c" on the screen. When that's activated, you can plug in your power cord. You will notice that the built in fan will go off every 5-10min to keep the internal components of the power station cool. it's not the quietest and not the loudest either but it is noticeable when it does go off. I even compared it to my friend's power station and the decibel noise was about the same. I was able to use my laptop plugged in via a/c mode for about 10-18hrs depending what I was doing.Overall im happy with the purchase, I've already brought this to 3 camping trips, and it served me well during a power outage. It was perfect timing having this thing and now it has been added to my camping essential.

A nice compact charging portable solar "generator".
I've used this product for several days. My use case is powering the Laptop, monitor, and workstation you see in the photo inside my RV. I have a toy hauler that I work out of and this allows me to use the computer setup for typically (5) hours without having the run the genset for the monitor.First, what's a solar generator? These are really just large battery banks that output AC/DC power and can be charged by a solar panel (not included). The most common setup is camping but if you have a variety of needs for short term power (street musician, projector, or other items) it can also get this job done. The generator itself is well built and looks like a quality product. The accessories include all the adapters you need to charge the device from either a wall or a car, and power your devices. USB-c support is directly built into the unit.I've learned to love this thing but also have a few nit-picks that could improve the experience.Pros:* The device is silent, with a fan that is reasonable and not abusive when it's needed.* The AC outlet is grounded and seems to be able to power most consumer electrics without issue.* There is a realtime watt consumption and charge meter built into the device which I think is really neat.* The device comes with a bag full of accessories and cables that you may desire.Cons:* You cannot leave it plugged into the charger while using it, as pass-thru operation is not possible. It will power off the output port if you have input voltage. This is only an issue for any 24x7 unattended operation with solar.* The charge times are a bit long. The solar charge time is actually fairly fast (60 watts) but when I want to charge off the wall power supply it takes 6-7 hours (35 watts). This is a long time when you need to quickly get the job done off a generator repeatedly during a multi-day trip, but is not so much of an issue for a weekend camper or solar user who just leaves it plugged in.It looks like you could replace the power supply with a higher voltage one because the only reason I think it charges faster on solar is due to the input voltage of the panel. If this is the case, a 18volt or higher charger should have been included. I will try cannibalizing an old laptop power supply when I get some time to see if this works to bring charge time to 3-4 hours.* The car charging cable (included) needs at least 13 volts to actually charge the unit. Otherwise it just blinks charging. The only way to get this voltage out of your car is typically to leave the engine running.Overall, I'm very happy with the product. It's reduced generator usage by 4-5 hours a day which should save $2/day in fuel.

Overall I love this version.
I use a number of the 222Wh capacity for my race timing business as they are an excellent stable power source. I'm very pleased I did! The unit is quite a bit smaller, looks better and of course has a much longer battery life. The display is much more helpful as it clearly shows the battery level and life and also shows the load being drawn. When you are charging the unit it shows the time to full charge which is a helpful addition. There is also a phone app which displays all the information from the unit, very handy for us as we often work away from the generator, so saves us having to keep going to check the power level.

Been testing for a week, working great!
I bought this little guy after the storms in Iowa and hurricane season started on the east coast. I live in Boston and wanted to make sure I could still charge my devices in case of a power outage. This power station does the trick. I've tested it for a week and boy this battery lasts and lasts.I also really appreciate the light on the back of the unit and could definitely see using it in a camping setting. One of the more interesting features is the lightbulb cable accessory that came with this battery pack. Just screw the lightbulb into the cable and plug it in. The cable does seem a bit short though, it's a little less than a foot so I'm not quite sure how I could use this on the trail but maybe hanging it would work.Other than that, mostly just disappointed that, like the other products I looked at before choosing this one, the solar panel is sold separately instead of included with the unit.
