Spacious and well built tent!
First, there are a lot of tents that claim to be 8 man tents. But, few are as spacious as this one from UNP. Not only is there plenty of space to sleep 8, but it also has the greatest center height that I've seen recently. I'm 6'6" and have no problem walking around in the center of this tent. And, well constructed, yes. All of the seams are very well stitched and taped. All the panels match up perfectly. The screens are smooth, no snags or holes. The rod pockets and loops are well built and well placed. All of the rods are well made and exactly the right length to make the tent nice and taught when finished.I took quite a few pictures, during the unpacking and set up. One shows how the bottom of the rod bag was torn out. I can see that it WAS well stitched before. So, I can only assume that it was rough handling during shipment that jammed the rods through the end. I stapled it shut and it works just fine. When I assembled the rods, I was surprised at how long the two side support rods are. I mean, they are LONG. I laid out all the fabric. You can see the rain fly, with UNP on both ends (not toward the front or back). There is the dividing center panel, with a zipper up the center. Then, the tent itself. There is a shot of the center rod and pole corner brackets. The front and back center poles are made of metal and are much larger diameter than the roof rod. The brackets have ribs in the holes for the smaller center roof rod. The brackets also have their own pouches, I recommend leaving the pouches hanging on the roof rod, by the elastic loops. Also, the front pole MUST go through the loop at the top of the doors, to keep them taught. The side poles go in VERY tightly. In fact, it's a struggle to seat them on the pins at the rings. You can hear the fabric straining as you place them. But, the result is a nice tight and taught tent.Putting in the center panel divides the tent into two equal size rooms WITH THEIR OWN DOORS. Each room has it's own power line port. The view through the screen roof is wonderful. I can't wait to take the tent out into the woods. So, I can view the stars through the forest canopy. One of my greatest joys in life.If you have ever tried to put on a rainfly by yourself, you have probably already learned to attach one end first, with the Velcro straps through the attachment points, then pull it over to the opposite side. This rainfly went on very easily, with perfect coverage. So, all in all, this is a very good tent. I really like it and am happy to give it five stars.

Large, durable and easy to set up family tent!
This is my first purchase from UNP and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, the size was just what I needed, the quality appeared to be good, and the price was great - so, I ordered and am pleasantly surprised. My husband is typically a major critic, was impressed. It comes well packaged in a pretty small rectangular box (considering the size), and is neatly folded inside a portable (zip up) storage bag. This was the first thing my husband commented on - he joked because of how small it stored into the bag, where's the rest of the tent?I am stubborn, and resourceful, but am not very good at putting things together. I did have my husband to help me, but could have done it by myself I believe. It was VERY easy to put together, and was way roomier than either of us expected. We could BOTH stand up inside the tent, and our toddler thought it was a 'playhouse' and 'fort.' It has the ability to be divided into two rooms, though we kept it one big open space. However, it should be noted this still leaves two zippered openings for the doors. Think of the divider as a curtain that can be rolled up and out of the way, but it feeds into the door splitting the door into two. This actually worked well, because where we were camping, we have a lot of mosquitoes and we don't want the door open any bigger or longer than absolutely necessary. When we set it up to camp, we set it up over a tarp for extra protection, and staked it to the ground with the included stakes. We put the rain tarp on from the start, and did get rained on one night. We've had tropical storms and hurricanes coming through, which brought a lot of rain. The tent repelled all water and kept us dry. The rain tarp allowed us to stay dry, but allow some flow through the windows for ventilation. This is important because it was raining, but also very humid and muggy!

A pretty good option
Pros:- It was really cold outside and the tent was warmer inside, that was a huge plus.- It rained a lot and it's totally waterproof. Not a single drop got inside.- It got very windy and the tent did hold.- It's very big inside. Tall enough for my 6.4 ft husband to stand!- Fairly easy to assemble.Cons:- It was impossible to get it back inside the carrying bag... I think I'll buy one of those laundry bags to carry it.- The stakes will not hold if the ground is a little bit sandy. Not a huge deal, we used stones to hold them until we drove to Dicksthe next day to buy better stakes. All in all, it's a good option.

Overall a good lightweight seasonal tent for casual fun
The media could not be loaded. So with everything going on recently, we decided to have a little fun with the family and go "camping" on the property. Didn't want to spend a lot of money, but wanted to give our toddlers a little break especially because the weather has been a little unseasonably warm. This caught our eye for the size, price, and all the mesh windows.I will say it's pretty easy to put together. I was actually surprised with how small of a carry bag it actually had for how large the tent was. That's a huge bonus considering storage in the basement is always at a premium. The tent itself is very lightweight too. I could honestly see carrying the tent bag during an actual hike and not being too stressed about it. And for being as lightweight and compact as it is, it's easy to set up. Instructions were basic and easy to follow and made sense when looking at the tent itself. Also incredibly pleased with the overall water resistance. It did rain while we were in it and no water leaked through any seams or up from the floor padding. The windows/door were easy to zip up and down and nothing got caught or torn. It fit me, the hubs, and the two littlest with room to spare with our blow ups and sleeping bags and no one was kicking each other in the face. I could see how 8 people would be rather tight, but 4 wasn't an issue at all.
