Arris Touchstone TG2472G Cable Voice Gateway Modem 24x8 DOCSIS 3.0 Gateway with 802.11ac Wi-Fi & MoCA 2.0 (Does NOT Work for COMCAST) (Renewed)

Neither Orris nor my ISP could get it to work.

I have no problem with this router or it's seller. The problem I have is with WOW Communications. I was trying to avoid the $14/month rental fee by buying the identical make and model they supplied me with. While trying to activate it today the technician explained that although the internet connection will work, the phone connection will not unless the modem is supplied directly by WOW. I realize there are only 17 of us alive who still use a landline, but if you do and you have WOW internet, you'll be a renter (at least after a year). Having searched a long time to find this exact model at a decent price I wanted to warn other WOW landline customers. This is not information they provided up front, which is annoying. Otherwise, the Arris TG2472 I tried to replace works fine after a year.

Basically this remanufactured unit is completely useless as there is no indication of its password which renders it completely useless. We offered to return this unit for a refund and in fact we did get our money back but Amazon said they didn’t even want the unit shipped back to them.

Be aware that this unit has been sold as refurbished but it is not! I saw a couple other similar reviews after I could not get on the internet with my device because it was never removed properly from its previous account and was unusable.

Because product did not work for me, I have returned it.
