I thought this product was too good to be true but it really is amazing. I wish I had discovered it earlier. My baby loves to be swaddled but at 13 weeks we were getting to the point where he wasn’t ready for a sleeping bag but was too restricted by a tight swaddle that binds his arms to his body.I had initial worries about this product because the positioning of the hands looked awkward especially as my baby was so used to having his arms swaddled downwards.Our routine was to get the baby off to sleep in our arms and transfer him to his cot when he was asleep otherwise he would wake up and we’d have to start again. He would certainly never take himself off to sleep on his own.From its first use the swaddle up blanket has enabled our baby to get himself to sleep which we could not and still can’t believe! I zip him in when he starts to show signs of tiredness and lay him in his cot. Within minutes he has self soothed his way to sleep because the little hand tabs allow him to suckle on them and stroke his face. I still can’t believe that it works but it really does. He will often jerk around due to those baby reflexes but the design of the swaddle up prevents him from waking. I no longer live in fear of his movements during sleep or of him wriggling his way out of his blanket!My only negative regarding this product is the price of the swaddle up because it’s not cheap especially if you want a second one for when one goes in the wash. However it is a well made product and the cost can be worth it when you’re getting a good nights sleep and/or don’t have to spend so much time coaxing your baby to go off!In all this is a brilliant product and delivers on its promises. I wonder what better sleep we would have had if we had used it before now! I’m writing this review as I have just put my son down for his sleep. Once again I was marvelling at how easy this is to do now so thought it would be worth sharing my experiences.

Purchases Original style swaddle, size M - Parcel Arrived quick. Fabric is breathable. Material is like for good quality T-shirt. Not too thick. Zip on the top part is very high to the neck and feels like slightly uncomfortable for baby, but it has a fabric piece covering the top edge of the zip which is fine. Probably will have to make some alterations to the neck line and top part of zip in the next couple of months as its already very small for her. Luckily my husband is tailor . Overall good item, my baby’s sleep is better than when we swaddled her with hand down as she can move hands. However sleeves are very close to her face and always touching the face, she started sucking her hands when swaddled. Feels slightly tight in size. Have to always remove her hands or keep away from face until she falls asleep. Size - for my 7 weeks baby (51cm) -4 kg weigh I bought size M and I’m too part of the swaddled is already fits her well, almost tight. Neck line, sleeves and baby’s stomach area are already well fitted / tight. I don’t think we could’ve have used size S at all based on manufacturers size guides. On the legs part there is about 5-7 cm extra fabric space left. Hope swaddle will be big enough to use for another couple of month. Buy bigger size for you mr baby otherwise it comes very small and you cannot use it for more than couple of weeks or so.

Amaaaazing idea! Totally saved sleep when my baby was around 3 months old. He would startle in his sleep which woke him up during the night, but this kept his arms nice and secure, and improved his sleep so much! It’s great idea for when your baby starts wriggling out of a blanket swaddle as well. I loved the zip down the front of this too as it’s so easy to use and practical for nappy changes during the night.It is a little expensive, but I definitely would say it’s worth the money you spend. I would recommend this product

This swaddle literally saved our lives as it was the only thing that worked getting our baby to sleep! We tried various different ones and absolutely swore by this one. Our little one had a really strong startle reflex and it kept the arms tightly swaddled and her feeling cosy. It's also very reassuring to not have to worry about wrapping swaddle blankets yourself and the tog rating is great to know how warm or cool the room should be.It is pretty pricey given you only use it for a few months, but for us with a non sleeping baby it was worth every penny!

Bit disappointing. Thin material did nothing to comfort my baby like what a swaddle did. Kicked constantly.His arms still had a horrid startle reflex that could early swipe his tummy out. Tried it loads but ended up throwing it as just upset him. Shame as wasn't cheap. Our baby was happier then going into a proper grow bag. Kicking stopped immediately then and we sleep 11 hours now.
