PRAXIS: Book + Online (Kaplan Test Prep)

This book is very helpful to get you back into the groove of learning. Especially for math it breaks every concept down, give mini reviews, as well as a chapter review at the end of each chapter to make sure you really grasped everything for that chapter. If you put in enough study time per day this book will be a great studying tool.

This book has everything you could possibly want from a PRAXIS prep book. Practice test questions, sample writing prompts, and explanations of how everything is graded. I have not taken my PRAXIS test yet, but this book makes me feel very confident about my ability to score highly on the exam.

This book has wonderful tips and really great content. I did not; however, realize that my state now requires the Paxis CORE instead of the Praxis I (which this book focuses on). I still followed the book anyway, and I firmly believed that it helped with my success on the Praxis CORE as well! It's a great price, too, so I would recommend this either way to be honest!

I found that some of the information was dated. The amount of questions and the time allowed on the practice tests did not align with the questions and times with the current exams. This was a good supplemental book. I wouldn't rely on this alone to pass the Praxis I Core. I used the Praxis Core for Dummies book the most.

This book helped me to pass the praxis 1 on all subjects the first time. Studied for 1 week. It also helped me pass the biology praxis 2 first time! Studied about 2-3 weeks. Now I'm using it for the math praxis 2! P.s. The questions are very similar to the real thing ( I have to do a retake of the math due to system issues)

I received an amazing score, and the preparation helped me feel much more confident going into the test. I found the language section to be much easier in reality than in this book, however.My recommendation: do not skip the essay practice, no matter how amazing of a writer you are! More people run out of time for their essays in the exam than finish. Trust me: you do not want your computer to cut out, and leave you with a half-sentence conclusion. You will fall prey to the constant terror of failing for the duration of your waiting period.

Helped tremendously when studying for the Praxis. I liked how this book does not "beat around the bush." It tells you exactly how to pass this test!
