QTP QTEC66K Dual Oval Low Profile Electric Exhaust Cutouts With Wireless Remotes

Sounds great, but that's more so because of the 7 liter V8 Engine. Sound aside 500+ dollars for a 2-day lasting motor, and wireless controller is ridiculous. Motor went dead within 2 day (testing open and close functionality) - and this was installed by professional automechanics over 4 hours (inclusive two calls to QTP).I've read reviews about this product and am not unreasonable in my expectations (although this is subjective to you (or the interpreters) perspective - Overall i was expecting these motors to last at least a good 1-1.5 years hassle free (after install) (especially for the final price tag on these).For the price, the motor needs to be of better quality overall with respect to weather. As a bit of free "quality advice" from an engineer (different field), wheather proofing the motor, wiring and connections(through combination of rubber and plastic) for an extra layer of weather durability will pay for itself, in terms of the amount of motors i hear needs replacing (not exactly a rarity). Although it might not seem so - I bought these expecting issues "down the road." I'll be contacting QTP for a replacement

I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he was so exited and surprised! I was just surprised that I actually got the right ones! Lol The delivery was perfectly on time and the product is perfect! They make our CTS-V sound amazing! I love that I can also close them with the remote! I would say the remote is a must have for convenance. The only down fall was that this is the only package that actually came with the QTP brand all over the box. My husband got home before me when it was delivered so the Christmas surprise was ruined .... Although he wasn't upset! Ha!!Great product!! He loves it!!!

Had these for 2 months and now they leak, bad.

These are awesome!!!! When my family is in the car I have them closed and everything is normal. When I am by myself I open them and the sound that comes out of these are awesome!

Save your money and don’t buy this.

They are a little slow and rattle a lot when partially open. Great for sounding mild to wild when you want...Delivered / shipped as expected

They work as advertised. You definitely loose back pressure with them opened up which equals loss in torque but that was expected. Installation was fairly simple and non time consuming.

Love the way they make my CTS-V sound.
